“WHAT ARE THEY DOING!!?”; One soldier shouted. Aarav looked back and saw the orcs controlled by Aahana cutting themselves slowly and painfully. They were inflicting as much pain on themselves as they can. He frowned as he saw everyone of the orc stop running and starting ripping off their body parts themselves. They had a sickly sweet smile at them face as they would rip their legs and one hand off and throw it to their side and they would rip their own head off which would be thrown to their side by the other orc, who would then do the same.
Aarav frowned and looked back at Aahana, who suddenly fell down with a force that Anderson and Samuel could not stop her.
“AAHANA!!”; Aarav screamed as he held her up and hugged her.
“Why me!? Why me!?”
Aarav frowned as he heard her mumble. He patted her cheeks and shake her.
“Wake up, please.”; He pleaded.
Aahana shivered and coughed up blood, making all three men look at her with wide eyes. Aarav’s armour was not dripping red from her blood. He put his fingers on her neck and gritted his teeth. He just felt her pulse moving faster. There was nothing wrong otherwise. She must have some internal injury. He has to do some test to figure it out.
He put her head on his shoulder as he put his hands inside her shirt, opening her bra and taking it off. He laid her down and now all he could do was pray that blood does not accumulate inside her lungs. He highly doubts that they would have the medical treatment she would need. He looked back at the orcs as they kept on killing themselves, while the soldiers watched in horror.
………………………………………
Aahana looked at the girl dead on the ground. The grave got covered in blood coming from the girl’s wound. She looked at the two shadow figures coming to the little girl and kick the girl’s corpse.
“HEY STOP!!! YOU BRUTE!!”; Aahana shouted, but her voice did not reach to the figures.
“That’s right b***h, you should not have been born to begin with.”; The shadow figure said.
“STOP!!”
Aahana suddenly turned around when she heard a shouting. She frowned; she could not figure if the figure is a man or not. The voice seems manipulated. The taller figure walked to the two little shadowy figures.
“Stop, don’t ruin your shoes with this filth.”; The taller figure commanded.
“Take this thing and throw it in the forest. The least she could do is feed some animals.”; The figure said, making the little two laugh out loud. Aahana felt her heart clench.
How could someone be so cruel? A little girl is dead, the least you could do is bury her. Even the enemies in war give this much courtesy to their opponents.
“Wipe the grave, I don’t want her filthy blood run through such scared ground.”; The taller figure said.
Aahana felt hate brewing inside her. A hate that she has never felt before. She wanted to kill these three. She wanted to rip these three to shreds. No, she should keep them alive and make them feel the pain of slow kill. She would rip their nails, fingers, eyeballs, toes, teeth and then she will slowly break their every bone while they scream. She felt so good thinking about how she wants to torture them.
She wants to show what is cruel? She will show them. She will make them see death as a luxury. She will make them regret what they did to that little girl. She will avenge her.
“Come on, let’s go. Finally, the burden left us.”; The taller figure said as the two walked away, following the taller figure.
“We did great, didn’t we, father?”; the shorter figure asked. Aahana’s eyes widened. She is not someone who is so dense. She understood who are these people. Just as the realisation set up, the figure slowly cleared up as she saw Anderson and little Samuel and Michael.
“Yes, you both did great killing that wench. Tell me what you guys want as a gift for such monumental work.”; Anderson said.
Aahana felt her heart clench, her eyes watered as tears fell down her eyes. She does not know why she felt anger but more than that she was feeling sadness. She felt betrayed and lost. What is happening? She saw them walking away; she wanted to follow them but she could not make herself follow them.
She turned towards the little girl’s corpse. A servant came and picked the girl’s corpse up and walked into the forest. While others washed her blood off. Aahana followed the servant, carrying her corpse. She saw how the servant walked inside; he stopped when he heard a growl of a wolf. He threw her corpse right there and ran away.
She kept standing there looking at the now blue body of the little girl. She saw a wolf approaching the corpse. He sniffed the corpse but did not eat it. He laid beside the corpse and nudged her. He kept the corpse, as if he was expecting the little girl to open her eyes. As if he understood what happened, he howled at top of his lungs. Within a few minutes, few more wolves came and look at the corpse.
Two started digging whole while the wolf, who called everyone here, laid beside her. Aahana’s throat choked with emotions when she saw tears coming out of the wolf’s eyes. An animal held more humanity than humans. They dug a grave for her just like a human would and kept her inside, more like throwing her inside, but that is the best they could, and then covered the corpse with the soil again.
Every wolf surrounded the grave and howled as if they were giving her a last farewell. Aahana did not realise that she was crying her eyes. She felt her heart was being squeezed by someone. She does not know if this all is true. She knows Eleanor is alive and well, so the grave thing is false. What if they actually killed a little girl? She looked at the roughly made grave and fell down. She has never felt her legs so heavy. Her tears kept on falling down; as she sobbed for the little girl, who looked exactly like her younger self.
