Annalease woke the next morning. She heard from Stephen the warrior about the attack. When they had arrived, the rogues were already attacking. When they saw the warriors return they retreated quickly. They were able to imprison three but they refused to talk. so those three along with twelve more were beheaded and hearts removed and placed outside of the pack territory as examples as she ordered. Few of their warriors only received minor injuries thankfully.
Annalease had to come up with a new plan for protection for the ceremony. Unfortunately, she didn't see a way for the warriors of Harvest Moon to be able to attend the service because they would be needed to protect all three borders.
