Annalease and Beta Mike went into the dining room and grabbed a plate of food. Annalease took her spot at the head of the table. Beta Nick sat to her right and Beta Mike sat to her left. Others sat wherever they wanted. After sitting down, a little boy came running up to Annalease hugging her with all of his might. "I love you Alpha Annalease. Thank you for coming to help us," the little boy had tears running down his eyes His mother jumped up and ran to the boy. "My apologies Alpha, he was so excited to see you. It won't happen again I promise. " Annalease could tell this woman was in fear for her son. "Mam, there is no need to apologise to me for this " as she pointed to the boy with his arms still around her crying. "What worries me the most at this moment is why you are in fear for your son's safety?" "Because Alpha Jason and Luna Amber would have punished him severely Alpha Annalease." His mother said hesitantly."Well he will not be punished for giving me hugs. I must apologize thougj. I don't know your name.?" Annalease says. ""My apologies Alpha Annaly. My name is Rose and this is Timmy. He just turned 5." Hello Timmy." Annalease said to him. "Alpha I promise I'll keep you safe and happy if you let me. I'll be good." Timmy said to her. Alpha Dad looked at him curriously. "How would you like to become my personal warrior when you get bigger Timmy.?""Yes please Alpha Annalease. I'llake you proud of me I promise?" he answered. "Ok Timmy. on Monday all of the children including you will start school at my other pack, Harvest Moon. After you get home and do your homework you will have to go train everyday.ok?" "ok" tommy said excited."May one excused now so I may watch cartoons?" he asked causing everyone to giggle. "yes go o Timmy".

Alpha Dad spoke up. "Rose dear, I am Alpha John, Annalease's father. I am curious but has Timmy ever attached himself to anyone else other than Annalease?" "No sir, he actually usually stays clear of everyone." Others shook their heads agreeing with Rose. "My my. today does keep getting more and more interesting" Alpha Dad says. "Annalease honey, if I am not mistaking, you my dear have an actual protector on your hands. I will confirm with Jonah, but if that is the case, he won't be able to train here.." Annalease was shocked.Why would she need a protector? She wondered. Rose looked confused. " "I'm sorry Rose let me explain. A protector is a gifted wolf who's sole purpose is to protect one person.They will do absolutely anything to make that person happy and safe. However, being gifted as a protector requires special training. But myself or Elder Jonah can train him if this is the case. If you will allow it" Alpha Dad explains. "Well of course I will allow it. All he has talked about since Alpha Annalease arrived was that she was his princess and he had to make her happy and keep her safe. I thought it was just his age." "No Rose. And that just confirms my suspicion since it started as soon as he saw her. I will excuse myself now Annalease so I can talk with Elder Jonah. I don't think he has left yet" Alpha Dad and Maggie left to find Elder Jonah.

.After dinner and mingling with her new pack, Annalease was exhausted. She had instructed Mike to have some Omegas to clean out the top two floors of the packhouse for her and her guest. The furniture in her new room was removed and replaced with the new furniture from one of the other empty rooms.

As Annalease and her guest were being shown around the packhouse and to their rooms, she was a lost for words. The place was huge. She hadn't had a chance to really look around and notice. Today had been extremely busy for her, There were so many unused rooms. It was ridiculous for members to be staying in those cottages. She honestly wanted to burn down everyone of the cottages instead of trying to rebuild them. Annalease notices areas that were locked. She asked Beta Mike about them. "Honestly Annalease your guess is as good as mine. Jason Locked them and I never even bothered asking him." Mike answered. "Well can you go grab me a pair of bolt cutters then Mike?" She said with a smirk. "Gladly Annalease"

Beta Mike came back a few moments later and met Annalease at the first set of locked doors. " 1-2-3 " the lick fell to the floor. She opened the first locked room on the ground level. It was a huge theatre room. "The kids will have a field day in here watching cartoons!" Annalease said with excitement. "You are going to leave it open?" Annabelle asked. "Of course I am. Anyone will be able to use it" A huge grin grew across Annabelle's and Mike's face. The they heard Jason hit a wall in Anger. "Hey Annabelle, add fixing every hole to Jason's punishment list Annalease said loud enough for Jason to hear. "Hey Annabelle. you and Jake and me and Mike should have a double date to watch a movie in here?" Annalease said winking at Annabelle to play along. "Sounds like fun." Annabelle chimed. "It does Baby" Mike said. We heard a muffled growl coming from where Jason was cleaning.

" Ok next room. Who wants to do the honors?" Annalease asked holding up the cutters. "My turn" mike grabbed the cutters. "1-2-3" The lock fell off like the one before. He opens the door and their mouths hit the floor. It was a fully stocked bar and lounge with a dance floor. ""Now it is party time" Annabelle gleamed. "Oh yes. But this room does get licked back. No underage kids aloud in'

"Annabelle it's your turn" Mike told her as he handed her the cutters. 1-2-3. the lock fell. Annabelle opened the door and reviewed a library. 'I remember this place" Annabelle said. When Jason's father was Alpha we would have story time every day and different people would read us stories in silly voices. We had a lot of fun I. here. I used to love it" Annabelle said kinda sadly. "Hey Annabelle, how would you like to start it back up? You know that falls into the Gammas responsibilities." Annalease asked smiling. "Can I really?" she was so excited.

"Ok guys one more door for tonight then I have to sleep." Annalease said cutting the lick. When she opened the door she about passed out. Jason came running but was tackled by Jake and chained in silver but Jason was still fighting. "Jake give him a dose of wolfsbane." Annalease ordered without a second thought after seeing what was in front of her. There were 2 brand new lamborghinis, a bugatti, and a brand new BMW. the room was a garage that was hidden. The keys were hanging up on the wall. "Well we'll" Annalease said smirking at Jason. Jake hold off on the wolfsbane for a moment. and bring Amber I. here as well. I want both of them to see this. There were also two brand new cell phones still in the boxes. Jake returned with Amber. "Now, Annabelle with your new title, you will of course need a brand new car and a cell phone so here ya go. " Annalease tossed her the keys to the BMW and a new cell phone. I will have it turned on for you tomorrow" Annalease said. Amber was pitching a fit. "I guess that was supposed to have been hers. oh well. you shouldn't have been so greedy Amber!" Annalease told her. "Beta Mike. Your title isn't a new one but you deserve this more than he does" She threw him the keys to the bugatti and a cell phone. Jason tried to start swinging.thankfully another warrior had come up to help when Jake got the wolfsbane. "I don't know what to say except Wow thank you Annalease. Are you sure though" "YeS I am. Technically the pack is supposed to provide vehicles for the three of us plus a pack vehicle for shopping and things like that. One that anyone can use. My t wo Escalades are going to be the pack vehicles. And we'll the former Alpha bought these, so we were going to put them to use. . And with your ranks, you deserve them. trust me you will earn them very soon as much work that needs to be done here. And these two sets are for me. she grabbed the keys for the two Lamborghinis. I'm gifting the other to my father for allowing me to be here instead of him retiring as he was supposed to. so until I decide what I need to do he will run Harvest Moon so I can get here straight. Oh what fun this will be Jake thought shaking his head.

Annalease arrived at her father's door. She.knocked on the door and waited. "is Everything ok honey?' Alpha Dad asked as he opened the door and saw her. " Well yes but I wanted to talk with you for a second. Annalease told her dad about the locked rooms. Then she told him about the garage and how she gave her Beta and Gamma a vehicle, since there were no pack vehicles yet for them to use. And she told him about her keeping a car.He agreed that she was doing right. "Well daddy, there is a little surprise. you have made me who I am today. If it wasn't for how you raised and taught me then I wouldn't have been able to help this pack. But because of you, they have me. So you and Maggie more than deserve these. She handed him a set of keys to one of the Lamborghinis. "Annalease honey I can't accept this. This was paid for by Crescent Moon Pack." ""No daddy, you don't get to retire as you were supposed to because of my duties here. The vehicles were purchased by Jason. The car is not suitable for a pack vehicle, and this pack is in debt to you. so you have no choice but accept the gift from the pack to hold off retiring until I can get things where they need to be here . the Beta and the Gamma both agreed as well As far as my car goes, you know I have my Escalade already here along with Jakes. So we will use them as the pack vehicles and then I'm entitled to a vehicle being Alpha. So it is all legit and taken care of. No issues at all. " She said hugging the both of them. Tears swelled Alpha Dad's eyes. how did he get so lucky with having a daughter as caring and loving as Annalease? ""Oh yeah Daddy.... Annalease said smiling heading towards the door to be able to make a fast getaway "Jake marked his mate before he even introduces himself to her" she bolted out the door and ran to her room. Hearing Alpha Dad rattle the pack house yelling "JAKE HOW DARE YOU! Jake and Annabelle his o. the theatre room while Annabelle laughed at Jake.

Annalease arrived to her suite after telling her father and Maggie goodnight, as she saw Nick waiting at her door. "Annalease I know you have had an extremely long day, both of us have, but can I please talk to you?" Nick asked so sweet. Annalease opened her door and motioned for Nick to go on inside. "Ok how did you slip by Alpha Dad?" She asked him. "When he was yelling for Jake.." Nick said smiling. . "I think our entire pack could fit on this floor alone" Nick said still amazed at the size of the room. There were two rooms, that evidently were walk in closets and then another door that opened to an office. on the other side of the room was another door opening to the huge master bath. "Annalease, this bathroom even has its own hot tub along with a jacuzzi tub and a walk in shower with jets all the way around. " he yelled. Annalease came running in there yelling dibs on the hot tub." You have to share Annaleasel."Nick said pouting. "Of course but only you" Annalease chimed. After relaxing in the hot tub Nick apologized for what happened that morning. I didn't know what to say Annalease. I don't regret it but it felt like you did I love you Annalease and I always have since we were kids please forgive me?" Nick asked. "Of course I forgive you Nick. It was just as much as my fault as yours. I busied myself to try not to think of you finding your mate when you left. Not to avoid you. And then of all things I find my mate.." "WHO THE HELL IS IT BECAUSE IM GOING TO KILL HIM NOW ANNALEASE. I CANNOT LIVE WITH YOU HAVING ANOTHER MATE!" Nick was furious. Oops Annalease forgot to tell him earlier. "Don't worry Nick. It has already been worked out. It is Jason of all people." Nick's Anger drained from him instantly as he began rolling on the floor laughing at her for having a jerk like Jason for a mate. "The Moon goddess did it so I could teach him a lesson in morals with a dose of humillity. Serves him right Nick said. "However Nick, I' did find out something else, and I'm not sure how I feel about it or what it even keans. I haven't had a chance to really think about what Selene said before she left is earlier, but according to her I have a destined mate that is supposed to replace Jason as soon as I reject him after a few days of humiliating him." Annalease looked down at her hands nervously. Nick didn't know what to say at that moment. Absolutely nothing would change destiny. It would happen. True mates are not guaranteed to find each other. But no matter what happens destined mates will always find each other when the time comes "So what do we do now?" Nick asked scared of what she is going to say. "I think we should be chosen mates until that time arrives. I don't know who it will be. Maybe if we are lucky and blessed it will be you. That is all I can hope for right now Nick. But I know we cannot let this stand in our way and cloud our judgement. Selene did tell me that." "Well it's settled then, we will become chosen mates" he said kissing her softly.land they got ready for bed. "What will your pack think with me being in here with you" Nick asked. Annalease hadn't thought about that. Back home, this was a normal occurrence. She and Nick have been together since birth.. Everyone thought they would be mates because they were inseparable.. None the less their bond was as strong as a mate bond if not stronger. "They will have to accept it." Annalease answered flatly. knowing they wouldn't have a choice not to. They did decide to wait a bit to let everyone know about being chosen mates since she still had to deal with Jason.

Goodnight Nick" Annalease yawned climbing into the bed. Nick climbed in on the other side. "sweet dreams Annalease." "Oh Nick, Thank you for coming today " she smiled at him and fell asleep in his arms.

The next morning after breakfast, Annalease had to send Nick back to the other pack, and her father along with Maggie back to their pack. She hugged them all. "Maggie, I'm still upset you will be leaving me, but I understand you can't resist this old man" Annalease laughed hugging her father. "Loraine is my sister dear, and she is as wonderful as I am" Maggie boasted hugging Lorraine goodbye. Alpha Dad handed Annalease a bank card. "Use this dear. It is your account your mother left for you when she passed You have more than enough in it to tear down everything here and rebuild if you so choose. I'm giving it to you now It was supposed to be given to you when you took over Harvest Moon, but seeing that you are an Alpha now, well here you go." Tears ran down his cheek. She never remembered ever seeing him cry. Tears filled her eyes. "Thank you dad and mom" She said as he wiped her tears. "Now you can still use my personal card my too if needed, but not the Harvest Moon pack card for here. Remember until you join them they are separate and you my dear are Alpha over two packs" .I understand. " she said. "oh and Annalease" he tossed her a set of keys. "Happy birthday" She looked at him questionably but he got in his new car and drove away waving to her.

As they drove off she heard horns honking as she saw Jake and John driving up in brand new Jeep wranglers completely decked out. The license plate on the first one said Annalease and the other had Nick on it. The two looked at each other and started screaming, jumping up and down with excitement. The pack members started laughing at them, then started singing Happy birthday to them. Annalease jumped in hers as Jake stopped. Inside was a note from her father. ""I know it's not a Lamborghini, but this fits the two of you better." Tears started to fill Annalease's eyes once again. Nick jumped in his as well and found a note for him. "Nick you are the son I never had, and I can't give to one and not the other. You are my son as much as Annalease is my daughter. and remember to tell my daughter good bye when you go this time. If you hurt her I will find you son. " Tears streamed down his face as Annalease came up to him seeing that he had a note as well. "You know he speaks the truth. You are considered his son in his eyes the same as the way your parents see me." Annalease smiled hugging him. "Let's take them for a test drive!" Nick yelled. "already ahead of you " she yelled jumping in hers. They drove down the dirt roads through her territory for a bit. Too soon it was time to get back to work knowing Nick had to leave. Be careful she tells him waving good bye.

"Now time to work" Annalease tells Mike and Annabelle. They start in the packhouse reorganizing and making new living assignments. The top 8th floor will remain hers. The 7th floor they decided to keep for guest. the 6th floor will remain Mike's and Annabelle's. The fifth floor Jason had turned it into his personal game lounge with arcade games, pool tables, air hockey and more. .They decided to leave that remain and open it up to the entire pack. The fourth floor will go to the guards and warrior. They still had the second, and third floor rooms along with the rooms in the finished basement. A total of 36 rooms empty at least. Annalease has Annabelle and Mike to sort the living arrangements out since they knew the conditions of the cottages. She did tell them that her idea was to tear down the cottages and put up new condos.

Annalease went to the living area of the packhouse to have a look around. She noticed areas that was locked that they hadn't opened yet. This room evidently was a nursery. She opened it up immediately. She made notes of what needed to be done in there. In anoth. . At the end of the hall were two double doors locked as well. She could not believe her eyes when she opened the doors. There was a huge gym, basketball court, and an indoor Olympic sized pool. "You have got to be kidding me!"She said out loud. She mind linked Annabelle and Mike to come downstairs. She took them to the locked room and asked "Did you know about this?' she asked. Their eyes said it all. "No we didn't" They could not believe what they were seeing, and how they did not know it existed. "Well these rooms are not to be locked anymore. it is to be used by all. I would like to meet with the pack again to go over the initial changes if you can arrange that Annabelle." She nodded and left to arrange for the meeting. "Oh yeah," Mike said "Happy belated birthday Alpha" Annalease*

Annabelle let Alpha Annalease and Mike know everyone was ready and waiting. Annalease took the stage. "Crescent Moon, I want to discuss some immediate changes with all of you. First, your Gamma has in her hands new living assignments for you all. Please see her after this meeting to get your new housing. I know a lot of work needs to be done to the cottages, so we are working to get you all out so they can be fixed or replaced" Cheers started. "Also, we have found rooms that have up until now been closed off to you all. I invite you all to tour the packhouse to see all that is now available to you. I believe everyone will be beyond shocked. I am also opening the nursery back up immediately. I know how important this is for those with little ones. With that in mind I will also be making a new work detail for everyone. There is a list on the far table for you all to sign up in the area that you know best. I will also be opening the businesses back up for additional income for the pack. I'm not going to lie to you all but the pack account has been emptied by the former Alpha. The belongings that he and Amber had stashed away will be divided out to all members as it is sorted through. As part of their punishment the two of them will live as they have made the rest of you live. With nothing but the bare necessities in the cottage that eta Mike was living in. " Chuckles were heard by Annalease, then someone yelled out "it serves them right!" with a lot of members agreeing. "But what are we going to do about money in the meantime, how will we live?" another spoke up."I am your Alpha now so that responsibility falls to me until we are back on our feet. You all will not go without and will have everything you all need. Do not worry over that."Annalease assures them. "You all will be expected to earn your living though. No one will get a free hand out, understand that. I expect everyone to do their part, including the children. They too will have their daily chores according to what they can do. All children 16 and under will be starting school come Monday. They will be going to school at Harvest Moon.I have spoken to the schools, and they have assured me they have the room even though the other neighboring pack attends school there as well. They will learn to get along with others along with developing friendships that will help them in the future. The school there bases graduation at the age of 16. So they will have a full schedule to get them prepared. it is also my intentions to make sure that anyone wishing to become a ranked member will also have at least 1 college degree before becoming ranked. I myself have 4 degrees at age 18. I will rule as my father ruled. Everyone will be expected to earn what they want, nothing to be given freely . If you all will please see Annabelle and Mike, you all are dismissed." Moon Goddess, thank you for sending Alpha Annalease" Timmy said when all was quiet, then he bowed down in respect to Annalease. Then all of the pack did the same. It made Annalease's heart feel like it would explode in that moment. She could feel the love and respect the pack had for her in just a little over a day. Annalease knew it would not be easy, but she was determined to make this pack strong again. This.was her pack along with Harvest Moon. She just hoped that when she merged the two it would go well.
