Chapter 7: Psychotic Jen

1144 Words
Tossing my hair into a messy bun, I stared down at the paper and reread it for the fifth time. "Alright let's discuss the passage." Miss Welkers stared from upfront. Dammit. She looked around the room before stopping on me, "Imanie, what did you think?" She asked sitting on the edge of her desk. I eyed the page again and gave it a long stare, "I think she was trying to replace that loss of a father figure by working those extra shifts to spend more time with her boss." I said watching her nod and agree. Good, I honestly wasn't sure I was right. She went on about how the girl in the book needed that bond and I couldn't help but wonder if I too needed a fatherly love. I wasn't even sure I knew what they was. When I was five my dad walked out on us for a twenty three year old girl who had fake t**s and an expensive taste in tacky clothing. Since then, it's really been my mom who's my rock, she's the father and the mother to me. The bell rang and I headed down the hall listening to the shouting and cursing before hearing Jens voice. "I said back the f**k off me!" She shouted furiously. I hurried over to the crowd, pushing my way into the center to see Jen with Caroline fighting. Jen was on the bottom but Caroline was in the less opportune position since Jen had a fist full of her blonde hair. The two went at it and I reached down pulled Caroline off Jen and managing to stumble back. An arm wound around my waist and I went to shove it off but stopped and stared at Everett who pulled me out the crowd as the security came and took the two. Everette let go and I stared at him for a while, ignoring his smug face and his strong arms. He headed down the hall and I watched him leave while feeling confused as to why he'd try to help me.  EVERETTES POV: Pulling the book from the locker, I shut it and eyed my watch, one more class and we're free from this class. I sighed and headed down the hall looking to that Caroline girl who was now explaining how psychotic Jen was. Going past her, I made it down to my classroom and walked in watching Imanie move up from behind me and go to her seat with Jen who was just pissed. Or maybe she's happy, I don't know, she always looks angry. I sat down in the back seat and watched as Imanie settled into her seat before looking to Caroline who walked in smugly. 'I bet guys like Rhett drool over her.' Imanies thoughts began to slowly flood my mind, 'Maybe it's her confidence...on me that just looks like bitchiness.' 'Nate dated her.' I smirked and watched her check out Caroline before thinking about slamming the girls face into the desk repeatedly. Such aggression. Class went on and half way Imanie thought about how much she dreaded going home. Then began wondering where she'd wake up next. Wake up next? Is that why she's always wandering at night? I thought she was just a weirdo. I watched her lay her head on the desk and fall asleep while Jen took notes and kept checking over to see she was okay. Jens got a thing for Imanie, I've heard and seen enough of her dirty thoughts of Imanie. If I was Jen, I'd dig on some girl other than Imanie, even Roma's sexier. The bell rang and I watched a nerdy kid run to Imanie and tap her shoulder, "Hi! Hi Iman, I uh-I was wondering if I could come to the wash. If you'd wash my car." He said smiling and turning an extreme shade of red while stonewalling. God, she's not that great. She stared at him and nodded, "Of course, just make sure you've got a hot coffee in the car for me." She said while he laughed nervously saying "Of course!" Awkwardly. I'll have to check out this car wash thing. Going to my car, I headed inside and shut the door turning it on. The heater warmed me up and I heard her thoughts before I heard the knock on the window. Looking up to her, I watched her stare at the lock before pulling the car door open and placing my jacket on the seat. "It's been washed, don't worry it doesn't smell like...what did you call it? Piss?" She asked laughing softly and giving me a look. I looked to Jen and Roma who stood by Jens car, "Get in." I said watching as she gave me a weird stare. Cocking an eyebrow, I watched her look back at the girls and then me, "Tell them to go and get in. It's cold." I commented watching her ponder the idea before telling Jen to go and then getting in. She sat down and took the jacket leaning back to put it in the backseat giving me the nicest cleavage show. She may not be the sexiest woman I've met but my god does she got nice t**s. As she buckled, she looked over at me, "I'm guessing you want to talk?" She asked looking back out the window. What? I gave her a confused look, "No, not really." I admitted. Imanie stared over at me confused, "Then why offer me a ride?" She was curious. I was too, I'm not sure why I said to get in. Maybe I hoped she'd say to drive her up the hill, park the car and take her then and there to break this curse. She focused up at me, "You know you don't have to act so badass around me. I see past your grins and smirks. You're cute but your lack of humbleness makes you unattractive." She stared confusing me. I've never been turned down by a girl. It was actually a hard smack to the face, metaphorically speaking. I almost wanted to kick her out the car and tell her to walk her ass home. Then I remembered that wouldn't really help me in chances to get with her. Maybe I'll just search for a new virgin, this ones just such a damn prude. "You know you can drop the act too." I responded before realizing I got a bit defensive, "The bitchy attitude to push guys away. It's obvious." I regretted the words as soon as they came out. She pushed open the car door as I was driving and threw herself out the car. She f*****g threw herse- Breaking hard and quick, I stared behind me to see her brushing grass and dirt off her pants before walking away. What the f**k? What the f**k!
