“If you go up that flight of stairs and take a right, you will find your room on the left side of the hall,” Lemon said sweetly, handing the man on the opposite side of the counter his room key. “Is it too late to get dinner? I am afraid I wasn’t able to stop during my travels today,” he asked her. His voice was calm and warm.
