Nicola’s P.O.V
We had arrived at the airport. I sent the taxi away, would get another one because we still had some time before he had to head through. I was dreading saying goodbye to him. I was trying to keep a hold of myself. I never wanted to make him leave any harder for him. We found a coffee cart, getting a coffee before going to find a seat.
“We are gonna be OK right? With the long-distance thing?” I sighed, my head resting on his shoulder.
“I promise we will be.” He said his arm around me.
I smiled, nodding. I have heard long-distance works for some people, and others it doesn’t. I just hope for us it will. I think I am just scared after what happened in my last relationship. I know Samuel was nothing like him. He kissed the top of my head, sighing.
