As was my habit, I headed to my favorite club to unwind after work at around ten o’clock. Throwbacks was a really nice, upscale establishment that catered to a wide variety of people from all walks of life. I’d met some great guys there. Really hot eye candy was the norm. I made my way to the bar and was surprised to see Lee leaning against the edge, talking to the bartender I’d been lusting after for years. The man never gave me the time of day. To be fair, he never noticed anyone else, either, that I could tell. He was a total d**k, in my opinion, and full of himself.
