Moon Warrior

CHAPTER 10

Damian POV

When Skylar came to my office after her visit to the library and told me what she found out, I was really shocked. My dad used to tell me stories about the last Moon Warrior when I was a kid, but I thought they were just stories. He told me that the last warrior was a girl angel and she was chosen by the moon goddess to bring peace between the supernatural. The rogues of all species made an alliance and started exterminating packs, covens and other groups of other supernatural. After the death of the Moon Warrior hunters and the remained rogues took advantage of the situation and exterminated all the supernatural except for werewolves and vampires because the others had less numbers and were at their weakest. So here I was hearing that Moon Warriors were real and on top of that my mate was one of them. I knew she was special from the moment I saw her, she had this pure and powerful aura around her and now it explains everything. "My mate is a Moon Warrior, I am so proud of her. It's an honor to be chosen by the moon goddess" Shadow said with pride and awe in hi s voice. "I know. She really is amazing" I replied to him and then turned to look at my mate sitting in a chair in front of my desk. God she was so beautiful.

"You never cease to amaze me. My dad used to tell me about the last Moon Warrior but I always thought it was just a story that adults liked to tell their kids. Well that means I was wrong and here I have the proof of their existence in front of my eyes" I said smiling at her showing her all the pride I felt for her. "I think for now we shouldn't tell everybody what you found out just some close people. I will also call the council and tell them everything, they will know what to do and as for now me, Trevor and the guys could help you with guessing how to use your abilities and transform in your every form and also start training you"

"Really?!! That would be awesome!! Thank you thank you thank you!! Could we start now?!" She said jumping on her feet like a little child with so much happiness and excitement showing in her face, the smile on her face was the breathtaking and true and it made me so happy I could make her this happy. I will try anything and everything to make her smile like this. It warmed my heart and made my wolf howl in happiness. "Yes of course. I will mind link Trevor, his mate, the twins and Juliet right now and tell them to meet us in the back of the house" And that's what I did I mind linked them to meet us there and we also made our way to the backyard. They all agreed curious to know what is happening. They are for a shock.

Once we reached the backyard, the guys were already there waiting for us. "You must be curious as to why I asked you to meet us here. Well it has to do with what Skylar found about the meaning of her tattoo in the library. I will let her tell you what she found out" I said to then and then Skylar told them everything she told me. Their faces were priceless, they were like five fish with wide open mouths and wide open eyes. When Skylar finished telling them, I let them some time to process all the information. "So I asked you all to come here so we can help Skylar understand her powers and how to use them"

"Amazing!! My best friend is a Moon Warrior. Now I understand why in my vision she was illuminated by the moon, it's because she was chosen" Juliet said with a huge smile on her face and she came to Sky and hugged her tightly "I am so happy for you Sky. You really are special" At first Sky was a bit tense but then she relaxed and hugged her back. She was warming up to Juliet I hope she will come to warm up to me too.

"Little sis, you really are awesome" Dustin and Justin said in the same time and came to hug her too. I suppressed a growl that wanted to come out, I know they didn't mean anything more than a brother affection but being Alpha my possessiveness is higher than a skyscraper. They looked at me knowing what was happening and they just smirked at me.

Emily too went to hug her while Trevor came and stood next to me and said "I would have never imagined that the stories your father liked to tell us when we were kids wasn't just stories" "Me neither. And here we are having a living proof of that"

"So why don't you turn in one form and then you could try using the abilities that came with that form?" Juliet suggested and I must say it really is a good idea. "Nice thinking Juliet" I said to her then turned to Skylar and said "you could start in your wolf form because you already shifted and know how to do it, then we could test your speed and strength" Skylar nodded, stepped away for a bit and shifted in a beautiful midnight black wolf with pecks of gold and silver/gold eyes. She was as big as Shadow but it didn't decrease her beauty, in fact it made her even more stunning.

"My mate is beautiful" Shadow said with so much love and pride "I'd love to know her Wolf's name" I approached Skylar's wolf form and run my hand on her fur, she was so soft "Your wolf is beautiful Skylar. What is her name?" I mind linked her. "Thank you. Her name is Notte" "It's such a pleasure meeting you Notte, you really are a beautiful wolf" I could see that her eyes brightened making me know that Notte took control. "Thank you Damian, I'd love to get to know your wolf too" she said with a hint of adoration, now I was sure that Notte knew what they were to us, and by the way she was looking at me with love and adoration I knew she accepted me as her mate. It means only Skylar still didn't know, but I won't force her, I will give her all the time she needs. "His name is Shadow and he too is really happy to know you, maybe sometime we could go for a run so you could get to know him" I said trying to let her know that he was also happy that she is his mate and it worked because she looked me with so much happiness before nodding and then giving the control back to Skylar.

"Now we will test your speed. I will time you while you run around the house. The best score we have is 10 seconds" I instructed her then took my chronometer out to count the time. She nodded and prepared your self. "OK at the count of three you run. 1. 2. 3. GO!" And she was off.

" Amazing, you made it in 4 seconds. You looked like you were flying" she puffed her chest proud of her accomplishment. "Now I will ask you to fight Justin. And Justin don't go easy on her we need to know what is her full strength" I also knew she wouldn't like us going easy on here she wanted to be stronger. "Ok boss" Justin said and shifted in his gray wolf. They circled each other looking for any weaknesses, then Justin stormed at her trying to his her with his right paw but she dodged him and hit him with her left paw on his stomach making him fly for some meters and then hir the ground with his back down. She run to him and as she neared him he stood up and bite her on her right back paw, she whimpered but quickly recomposed her self and hit hard him on his back making him losing control and then she jumped on him pinning him down to the ground using her front paws on his shoulder. He tried to move her away from him but her grip on him just tightened making him submit and end the fight. When Skylar let him go, Justin went behind a tree to shift and then he came wearing some shorts. We leave some clothes in the forest in case we need to shift and we don't the time to go to the pack house. Skylar too shifted and fortunately she was already dressed, I didn't want any male to see my mate naked. Justin then went to Skylar and put his arm around her shoulder.

"That was really impressive little sis" he said with a grin and she smiled at him. "Justin is right, you really were impressive. You just have to improve your fighting skills and you will be unbeatable" "You really were amazing there, Sky. Justin is one of the best fighters and you still won the fight" Juliet said jumping up and down like a little kid. "Thank you July. So what should I do now?" "Ehmmmm why don't you try to turn in your angel form. I want so much to see your wings" Emily said with excitement. "OK. But how do I shift in my angel form?"

"Try to imagine yourself as an angel, like when you shift in your wolf form but this time it's an angel" I told her hopping it will work out. Skylar closed her eyes, took a long breath and calmed herself so she could concentrate. After some seconds she become glowing and it kept growing stronger until we couldn't look at her at the blinding light. After a minute or two we could feel the light decreasing and we opened our eyes and you could hear everyone gasp at the sight in front of them. I didn't know how many times this girl could take my breath away and make my heart beat this fast. She was gorgeous, her black hair seemed longer, her blue eyes were brighter, her skin had this white light around it, she was wearing a white and gold crop top, a long white skirt that was open on one side and gold sandals.

But what made her more stunning was those amazing white big wings.

"Wow Skylar you are beautiful" Emily said and the others just nodded still shocked. "So how about you start with flying, then using your light power and then your healing power" I told her and she nodded closing her eyes to concentrate.

I could see Juliet taking out her phone from the corner of my eye. "What are you doing Juliet?" I mind linked her to not disturb Skylar. "I just want to film her so I could show it to her after I am sure she would like to see how she looks like" she mind linked back. "Okey, that's a nice idea. But don't show it to anyone except us. We need to keep what Skylar is a secret for now until we contact the council and they will know what to do" I instructed her and she nodded.

Then I could feel the wind flowing and I looked at Skylar and her wings were moving making the wind move around us. And then she was flying it was like she was born with wings, she flew with ease like she had always been doing it. After 10 minutes of her flying above us and sometimes we couldn't see her because she was too far, she came back and landed gracefully.

"That was amazing! I felt so free and everything seemed so small from above!" She said with eyes shining in happiness. "Now I am going to try the light power. I just hope I won't cause any damage because I don't know if I can control it" She then like before closed her eyes in concentration and after a bit in her right hand appeared a mini lightning bolt. Like the Zeus power in the Greek mythology. She looked at it in awe for a bit then she made it disappear. "That is really amazing, and I am sure it could cause a lot of damage" Trevor said in awe. "Well now we need a volunteer for the healing power" "I will do it" Dustin said and made his way to Skylar. "And what if I can't heal you" Skylar said a bit scared. "Don't worry little sis, I am a werewolf even if you can't heal me I'll heal just fine. But I am sure you will do it. Plus it will be just a little injury nothing big" he said and she relaxed a bit. Then Dustin took his pocket knife and cut his hand. Skylar put her hand above his injured one without touching them then she closed her eyes, e blue light formed on her palms and flew to his injury and in an instant his hand was healed with no trace of the injury.

"Alpha, dinner is ready" Maria the head chef, mind linked me. I looked at my watch and sure enough it was dinner time. "Guys we should continue tomorrow. It's dinner time" they all nodded and we went inside to eat
