Moon Warrior

CHAPTER 1

Beep beep beep "Ugh.." I groaned before turning off my alarm, it was 5:00 am I got up and went to the kitchen as quietly as possible to not wake up anyone. The moment I reached the kitchen I started making the pack's breakfast while humming some songs. I really loved cooking, even if I had to cook to this evil people, I enjoyed learning new recipes and experiments new ones and also it was the only moment when nobody could beat me because they wanted their food on time. As I finished putting the last plates on the big table it was 6:45 am so I had fifteen minutes before they woke up and get here. Not wanting to see anyone I took an apple and went to my room and lied on the bed.

I was awaken from my dreamland state by my father shouting. "SKYLAR! GET YOUR FAT ASS DOWN HERE AND CLEAN THE HOUSE!!". I sighed and went to clean up their mess like always. " ugly" "fat cow" "weak" were the words that teenager and some adults told me while going out to go to school or to their job, some of them even punched me in the stomach and face. They enjoyed seeing me weak and vulnerable, when i was still a kid I would have cried hearing those hurtful words from my family and my pack but not anymore I learned that they are not worthy of my tears and my crying made them just want to make me cry even more because they knew they succeeded in making me weak.

After two hourse of cleaning and washing dishes I went back to my room and took out my laptop from deep inside of my closet where I would hide all my important things so no one would know of them and they won't take them from me because for them I don't deserve to own anything. My room is the attic with just an old mattress, a small and old closet and a bathroom. Opening my laptop I started studying for my law course, you may ask how a little girl like me is taking law courses, well you see I am really a fast learner, when I was one years old I could already talk like a five years old it's like my brain grows faster than my body, when I was 6 years old I gathered some money here and there while cleaning the pack house and with them I bought my laptop, I started doing online courses and I graduated from college when I was 10 years old, it's easy when you have a brain like mine and a photographic memory, I remember every word I've read and I can read 10 000 words in a minute. Now I have a degree in science engineering, in chemistry, in business, in electronic and automation engineering, in psychology, in medicine and now I am studying to get the law degree and not to brag about my self or anything but I passed them all with top marks.

At 4:00 pm I closed my laptop and put it back in the closet and ran downstairs to start making dinner before the pack come home at 6:00pm. I was putting the last plate on the table when I heard the front door open and some laughter, 'Oh God I wasn't fast enough and now I can't avoid them' I thought and freaked out hoping they won't notice me. I started going away but I wasn't lucky because as I was going to step on the stairs and an annoying voice said "Oh baby! Look what we have here the ugly fat cow! Now my appetite is ruined just by looking at her" Cindy, my sister, whined and pressed her self more to Jack the soon to be alpha and one of my biggest bullies. "She is so annoying! Who is she calling ugly? Didn't she look at herself in the mirror she looks like a clown with all the make up..eww" said Notte my wolf, I laughed in my head and agreed with her but didn't show any emotion on my face. Jack looked at me with pure hatred and disgust before storming to me and punching me in the face, I fell to the ground and my hand went to my throbbing cheek, my eyes become blurry with how much it hurt but I won't cry, I won't satisfy them by seeing how broken they made me. "Yes Skylar you are stronger than all of them they don't deserve your tears. And remember that I am here with you and I always will be there for you" and in a second my cheek stopped hurting and it has perfectly healed, I've always healed faster than normal werewolf and I was glad for that. "Thank you Notte I really love you so much" and it's true I loved her with all my heart she is always here for me to comfort me and make me laugh, "I love you too my Sky". "HURRY UP AND LEAVE I DON'T WANT TO SEE YOUR UGLY FACE NEXT TIME I WON'T BE SO GENTLE" Jack yelled before turning back to Cindy who was smirking the whole time and kissed her passionately, I did what was told me and ran to my room. I could hear laughter and chatting, I just sat on my bed and studied more before everyone got to their rooms that's when I could go back downstairs see if they left some leftovers form me to eat and clean everything before going to sleep my self. After finishing my cleaning I went back to my room, did my business in the bathroom and went to sleep thinking about my birthday and finding my mate.
