My body was hot and it felt so heavy to move around. I could feel something wet was pressed on my forehead. It felt so good and relaxing. I saw mom when I opened my eyes. I was laying in my bed then I rolled my eyes to the window and noticed that it was already dark outside.
"Why. . . what happened?" I said and I felt my voice was getting weaker.
"You had a fever." She said in a worried voice.
Maybe it was because I fell at the lake this morning. I wondered if Thomas was alright. My thoughts were only on Thomas until I fell back to sleep.
