“No, this is not happening. How did he find us?” Emily whispered.
Ryan gingerly lifted up his head to check the car that had come, but the car’s headlights where too bright for him to see anything. The car had parked on their right just about thirty feet away from them.
“Can you see him?” she asked in a whisper.
“The headlight are on full beam, and the car is facing us. I can’t see anything.”
“What are you going to do?” the moment she said the last word, she knew that was a stupid question to ask. But she had to ask it anyway, she needed the man to assure her that he was not going to let anything happen to her.
“Let me get out. As soon as I get out of the car, lock all the doors and windows and stay put until I come back.”
