Freed from the shackles, the next plan was now to escape from this place before Keith could return. But there was a small setback, the door to the bedroom was locked. Ryan frantically searched for something he could use to rip the door open.
He had already tried to force it open by pulling on the door handle, but only ended up breaking the handle. All the kicking and punching of the door only drained more of his dwindling energy level from the starvation. Now he had to find something he could use to completely damage the door’s locking system.
Emily joined in the search. Opening one drawer after another of the massive wardrobe, turning their contents upside down. They had to find a good tool they could use, and they had to find it real quick. It was now or never.
