Ronan’s POV
I yawned tiredly as i buttoned up my shirt. I didn’t get much sleep all through the night. The doctor wasn’t clear on the number of times Fiona would need to drink water before morning. If i didn’t miscount, i was up five different times to give her water. However, as tired as i might seem, i feel glad that i could be there for her.
“You did an all night, can you at least take an hour break before attending to the council meeting?” Freya said behind me in a worried tone.
I inhaled and turned to her pulling her to my chest. “An Alpha King has no excuse to not do his duty. I will rest after i have attended to all that is required of me.”
“Shouldn’t you eat a bit of breakfast at least?” She persisted.
“A cup of tea will do just fine.” I said.
