I think I just said something I shouldn’t have. I thought as the atmosphere suddenly got heavy with tension. I thought Ember had already come to terms with the idea that Daisy belonged to both of them. I guess not. I thought about slurping on my drink while ignoring Ember’s hardened look and Amber’s nonchalant demeanor, but when I raised my head from the drink I was deeply focused on, they were both looking at me with a disgusted look on their faces.
“Why are you both looking at me like that?” I arched a brow, and Ember snickered in disbelief.
