Aimee’s POV
I woke up in the middle of the night because sleep had totally evaded me. I did not know what to do to get to sleep again. I glanced besides me to see Josh peacefully asleep. I stood up, wrapped my robe around my body and got out of the room carefully walking to avoid waking Josh up. I gently closed the door and went to the living room. The curtains over the glass double doors were not drawn and the moon was shining bright outside. As I approached the door, I discovered it was open as a cool breezy air was drifting in making the room a bit chill. I wondered how we went to bed leaving the door wide open.
