Aimee’s POV All I wanted was to know about his family. I didn’t want to pry. I felt so guilty when I saw him wincing in pain. He was trying to act manly but I could tell that the memory was making him feel both anger and sadness. The way he tensed while sitting there showed that he was reliving an intense memory. He reached out to touch me and static electricity sparks flew from our contact. “I guess you got well charged with your training huh?” though I was startled, I joked. He snickered as he quickly withdrew his hand. Within a few seconds he sprung up and muttered an excuse me as he headed to his room. He looked somehow pale. I finished my food and cleaned up the kitchen. I went to my room thinking I should give him privacy. My conscience wouldn’t let me rest. I knocked on his door
