SIXTEEN YEARS LATER
Marks Point of view
The sun was rising as I sat out on the porch, a new day, had begun. The view was across the Australian outback looking out across the fields towards Rooty hill, this was home a little town in the north west of Victoria called Tittybong, I had been born here, and 15 years ago I returned here, my place of safety, away from the memories that still haunt me every day.
I had never reached my goal of being a world champion, it did not matter to me, nothing mattered, and so I left, retiring from the sport I had once loved, because I could not bare to be in that paddock without her!
