Luther
Her eyes are red. They turn puffier for crying in fear. With her small fists, she keeps punching me. No matter how much she tries, she keeps failing in pushing me away from her. I wish to go on scaring her like this. But...!
For a moment I assume, there is only me and her. When the realization hit me, it was already too late.
"Leave the girl now!" I raise my head from her neck, glare down at her face. Principal sir warns me, "Luther, I won't repeat myself the next time. The students are gathering here. Stop making a scene before them,"
I stare at her for a while, and as I move away from her, like a mouse, she crawls and runs behind our principal sir to hide from me! The hell I will let you, Wagner! My nostrils flares. As she peeks at me from sir's back, I bare my teeth and growl threateningly to her. She shrieks and hides her face as I shift in my human form.
Harvey comes before me, preventing me from pouncing on her again. He tosses me my clothes and hisses, "What's wrong with you?" Ignore his questioning look, I start wearing my clothes and focus on sir and the red-head.
"What have you done with him?"
Sir asks her in which she says, "I swear to Zudy I didn't do anything to him. He keeps attacking me for no reason,"
Again that man's name! My eyes turn black. I march toward them and stop right before her. Like a frightening pigeon, she attempts to go back to her hiding place, but my question makes her freeze in her place.
Is that so!" Glaring at her, I spat, "You were still unconscious when I left you in the infirmary before making my way to our gym. The next time, I see you climbing down by that pipe, and take off running toward the woods."
All color drains from her face. She swallows hard and looks scared, meeting my gaze with hers. She breaks the stare and stammers, "W-what are you saying? I swear I didn't leave that infirmary. I just regain my consciousness, sir,"
My eyes narrow at her. She has the nerve to lie to me now! To the wood, I f*****g run sniffing her scent to the rogues. "Stop lying to me. I- " I press my lips firmly and look at her in pure rage. No, I can't say it aloud to them. They will become curious and won't let it go unless they discover that Wagner is my mate.
"Luther, that's enough!" Principal sir step forward and looks at me sternly. "She was in that infirmary when I left my office to check on her after you. In this state, she can't possibly climb down the pipe from that height,"
"I can't be so wrong, sir." I am still persistent. My gaze is still on her. I see her avoiding my stare and is scratching her arms continuously. She looks nervous and scared. She shouldn't be scared if she is not at fault, right? You lier!
Pearce and Harvey, my both brothers, are standing close to me. They must have sensed my anger.
Pearce places his hand on my shoulder and squeezes it. "Calm down, Luther. In this part of the area, we have installed some surveillance cameras a few weeks ago. Why don't we see the footage to confirm it?"
I look at Wagner keenly, see her eyes enlarge to hear of it.
She protests to our principal sir, "Sir, this is not fair. I didn't leave this academy, and why would I do that, sir? I don't know much about this place. I am not stupid, sir. There is no way I sneak out of here to go to the woods!"
No, Wagner! I won't let you manipulate sir's mind with your act.
Before he stops us, I tell Pearce, "Whether it's her or someone else, one will get punished if they are caught breaking rules in our academy. Right, sir?"
Principal sir can't say no to it. He nods his head stiffly and gives her permission to check the CCTV footage.
I thought it would be enough to expose her, but god was I wrong! We have checked every camera, including cameras that are installed outside the academy. But no of us sees her in there! How can it be possible? I avert my gaze from the display screen to Wagner, stunned to see a smirk playing in the corner of her lips. She leans her back against the bookshelves in the principal's office, and her eyes hold a challenge that I have no idea of what that would be.
Suddenly her face fall. A moment later, she raises her head, and my eyes widen, seeing her eyes brimming with tears!
Is she f*****g with me?
To me!
She turns her gaze to the principal sir, sobs, saying, "Sir, Zudith told me, and even you promised me I won't face anything I have faced in those witch covens. But- " She sobs loudly. Wiping her tears, she heaves a breath, saying, "I am new here. Indeed, I have grown up with wolves, but no one ever attacked me like this before."
"Ms. Wagner," Our Principal sir, Zachery Black, raises from his seat and looks at Wagner with pain in his eyes. That man is emotional. And I have never seen him hurting anyone before. I have expected him to react that way to her.
"No, sir," She wipes her tears and smiles sadly at him. Then turns her gaze to me. Raising her chin in defiance, she glares at me and says sternly, "I am not a wolf. And this is not fair of you to use your gift to beat someone weaker than you. I won't take this abuse, not now, not ever. If you want a fight, fight me in your human form next time, coach,"
Fuck!
Now I realize the reason behind her this act.
My hands form into fists. Lyon has warned me not to hurt her. But I listen to no one.
I march toward her and grab her by her throat.
She screams out in horror as I shove her into the wall beside that bookshelf. She pries with my grip to loosen it. She raises her legs to hit me, but does she think it will be easy to tackle me on, huh?
I lean my face on her, roar, "Do it!" I squeeze her throat more, challenge her, "I am in my human form, aren't I?" I will be damn if she defends herself to me. I laugh darkly on her face, hiss, "Are you all bark and no bite?"
Her next stunt leaves me completely speechless.
Her lips tremble, and her eyes are holding rage for me. My gaze narrows at her seeing her eyes flicker. With all strength she has within, she leans her face to me and presses her lips against mine!
My mind goes blank.
Is... is she kissing me... in front of... my brothers and... our principal sir?
Holy s**t!
Before I have the chance to taste her with my heart content, I find myself going limp, and I fall directly on the floor!
I have never felt so powerless before. There has no strength left in my body. Even my wolf can't connect with me.
But my mind is working, and I didn't lose my consciousness. What exactly happened to me?
I look up and see Wagner standing with her arms crossed.
"How does it feel like losing your power all of a sudden, huh?" Raising her eyebrow, she snorts at me. "Do you think I will play fair after the way you attack me on the ground? You have treated me thinking I am powerless and all, which I am, truly. But if I was a just human, the Ocean Dawn Academy wouldn't have accepted me here, would they?"
Wagner turn at the principal sir, says, "Sir if you want to expel me from your academy for draining a teacher here, I won't stop you. I have a reputation, and my life won't end here if I become a school dropout. Even if my brother abandons me after this, I will still survive by myself. You don't have to take this burden on your shoulder, sir,"
I can't get what she meant by that. I try to sit upright, but I fail to move even a little bit on the ground.
Principal sir's replies left me stunned.
"Did I stop you from defending yourself to your coach? I stop my boys only because I wanted to see you fight. And you did it well," I am dumbstruck, meeting his eyes which hold disappointment for me. He looks back to Wagner and explains, "Your coach isn't like this. He was just worried about you. That rogue attack- "
He can't be serious, can he? He is still persistent of me to coach that little devil after witnessing everything in here!
Principal sir says, "You can go back to your home now if you want. Would you like me to drop- ?"
Wagner refuses immediately, saying, "No, sir. I have booked a cab. He will be here at any moment,"
"I will expect to see you here the next morning in time,"
"Thank you, sir,"
Wagner nods and turns her gaze to me. She smirks at me, and says, "See you tomorrow morning, coach,"
Giving me a lopsided smile, she whirls her heels and stalks off of the principal's office.
Gradually I start regaining my strength while they are busy talking about me and my true nature. Pearce and Harvey come forward and help me to stand on my feet.
I wince as I get to connect with Lyon who sneers, "Wasn't rejecting her enough? Now you want her to leave our academy! That's not gonna happen. It doesn't matter whether you want her or not. The truth will never change that she is our destined mate. I won't allow you to make decisions for us this time."
"I didn't expect this from you." The principal looks disappointed. My brothers begin defending me by telling me about the rogue attack and that hoodie girl. Where they are busy arguing about it, my thought goes back to her.
The look she gives me says there have more of her than she shows to all.
She turns out what I have never imagined of her to be. She got me like nobody. f**k if it hasn't turned me on!
She makes a mistake. She doesn't know she has awakened my dark nature and twisted self.
Now, I will see how you are going to deal with it, Ms. Wagner.
