Luna Scarlet

Prologue  A few bulky men in black walk in and one of them directly comes before my desk. "Are you, Scarlet Wagner?" "Yes,"  "Come with us. The Alphas are expecting to see you in five minutes,"  "Why?" My voice sounds hoarse, "Why do they want to see me?"  My throat tightens when they forcibly grab my hand and drag me out of my class.  "What are you doing? Leave me! Leave me! Leave me!"  I panic, start struggling to free myself from them.  They all ignore my scream and take me somewhere, I suppose is a canteen.  Swallowing my fear, I ask them meekly, "What are you up to, sir? Do you want to feed me before hanging me to death?"  "Stay quiet!"  One of those men hisses on me.  Like hell, I can!  They push a door open and then shove me inside like I am a bloody puppet!  I fall on my face and bite back a scream that threatens to escape from my lips.  Gritting my teeth, I tilt my head to the closed door and sneer, "Hey! Do you think you have power so you can hurt others who are less powerful than you? Come back right now! Or, I will hunt you all down myself! And trust me. I won't be good for you!"  "Shut up!"  I turn around and gasp at the people before me.  The five.  Big bad alphas.  Holy mother of god! Oh! My heart! Am I going to die?  All of them look tall, intimating, and scary.  Numbly, I stand on my feet and take their features. It makes me wonder what they eat to turn themselves into vicious giants. I can't get what they get in tormenting new students in the academy when they can do something productive!  I hear an angry growl that has left my heart hammering against my ribcage.  Muphali and everyone have told me to avoid these five.  To them, all of them are devils. They have told me not to run into them because if I do, then I will be a dead-meat. And last but not least, they have reminded me many times never to look into their eyes. And look what I am doing.  Eye to eye.  Growl to meow.  Hahaha! The black wolf, who makes my life hell here, asks grimly, "What is your name?"  It sounds more like, "What is your last wish?"  Another growl echoes in the whole canteen that has me jump from my place in fear.  My eyes snap back to the alpha, who has his grey leather jacket. I become stiff as his dark grey eyes meet mine.  This blacky wolfy! By his look, I get he is very angry with me. As if I care!  I raise my chin in defiance, tell my name proudly, "Luna Scarlet,"  That grey-leathered alpha grits out, "I am asking you for the last time." His eyes are boring a hole on me. He looks furious with his flexed jaw and the vein throbbing visibly on his forehead. "Who are you?"  I snap, "I am Luna Scarlet from Ambersville pack. It won't change no matter how many times you ask,"  Just as that name escapes from my lips, five alphas growl out together in rage, almost giving me a mild heart attack.  I can't get why everyone gets angry with me when I take my name. "Luther!"  One of the five alphas warns the grey-leathered alpha whose eyes have turned pitch-black nearly.  "I would like to have two words with her," It sounds like an order.  I hold my breath, seeing the rest of the four alphas leaving that room without a single word. I peek at Luther through my eyelashes, and I squirm like a scared rabbit meeting his gaze.  Luther takes two threatening steps to me, looks at me emotionlessly. He stands before me, asks, "Who is your mate?"  I frown at him, thinking whether he is asking for Lorrie. My heart miss a beat. What if they go after Lorie and bully her because she is my friend? I step back and look at him in caution.  "I won't tell you,"  I regret it instantly when Luther pins me down on the desk that I didn't see there. He growls like a maniac on my face, "Whoever he is, I will hunt him down in one way or other. But you, girl- " I wince as he throttles me, sneering, "I will make your life a living hell here. You better behave, else I will have to take your matter in my hand."  My body shudders underneath him.  The look in his eyes is scaring me. His hold on me is possessive, and his eyes show obsession. They hold a promise of something that I fail to read. His look makes my heart flatters, but not in a good way.  "Ever heard of personal space, sir?" I avert my gaze from him and meowl, "You are invading mine. If you don't move away from me right now, then I will- Ah!" I wince as he grasps my jaw harshly and makes me face him. "Don't play with me," He threatens me with his dark eyes flickers on my lips. "You better keep it shut. Else- "  My eyes widen in horror when he slowly closes the distance and...!  Oh, no, no, no! Don't you dare, Alpha! ~ ~ ~  Blurb Luna left for Oceans Dawn Academy, a school for werewolves and special sorceresses. The girl ended up angering her five cruel seniors/professors at the beginning of the school year. In her defense, she didn't do anything wrong in saving a pregnant Rogue's life. Alpha Luther and his four brothers are part-time teachers/students, have their eyes set on the red-head spitfire since she takes her step to their academy's territory. Unlike his brothers, Luther has seen Luna before.  Luther recognized her could never forget the day he made her reject him. He was pleased to meet his mate that soon changed as her name reached his ear. He assumes she has mated before, and from there, he starts seeing her as his potential enemy and vows to give her a tough time for not waiting for her true mate's arrival.  Luna has a way to deal with things without getting into a fight with others. She possesses a power of a Simphoner, a kind of witch that is born with no ability.  But she does possess a rare power to absorb power from others, and detect the magic within other beings as well as unravel the most sophisticated of spells. She is deadlier than others can expect her to be.  What she doesn't know is her name may put her into trouble more than she expects.  She never imagined she would force herself to make a deal with the arrogant alpha, Luther Black, to whom she tricked when he came to reject her two years ago.  What happens when it turns that the pregnant Rogue she saved before is a spy? Luna still believes the Rogue is innocent. Will Luther and his brothers push their grudges aside and join Luna to reveal the truth behind that murder on campus?
