What a Day

Waverly's POV

I cannot believe that Kaden had said that to Dean. I cannot believe he still thinks that he has a chance with me. I look at Dean who seems to be upset from what Kaden just said.

I touch his arm, " Don't let what he said get to you. It is not true. You are not a disgrace."

He gives me a slight smile, " It is okay. All he did was say what our Father tells me everytime I speak up against him."

I pull him into a hug and I feel a slight tingle. It causes us to separate and just stare at each other. I gulp and tuck my hair behind my ear, " Uh... Thank you for helping me get out of my head today."

He nods, " It is no problem. I enjoyed today."

He glances down at his watch, " Well look at the time I should get you home."

I nod and we head back to the wheeler to head back down the mountain.

I wrap my arms around him and feel the tingles again. I shrug them off.

It is only a few minutes til we are back at the truck and we remain silent all the way to my Pack land.

He parks in front of my house and walks around to open my door. I look over and see that all my family vehicles are still here. I finally slide out of my seat and Dean closes the door. I turn and look at him and something happens when I look into those hypnotic grey eyes.

Both our bodies collide and our lips are on each other for an embrace. I thought our kiss earlier was amazing but this kiss was beyond words. I feel him pull me against me more and I moan.

I wrap both arms around his neck and had an urge to wrap my legs around his waist but I fought the urge when I felt the tingles again.

We pull apart from each other both breathing really hard like we can't get enough air in our lungs.

Dean is the first to speak, " I need.. to.. I need to head home."

I nod, " Thank you again for today."

I turn around and almost run back into the house. I close the door and place my back against the cold wood. I smile and raise my hand to my lips as I slide down the door.

I am still smiling when Thorn squats down, " Where is my Baby at?"

I look at him confused and he asks again, " Where is my car Waverly?"

Oh that is right I took his car this morning, " Back at the school."

He extends me his hand to help me up, " Speaking of school, I recieved a call informing me that my niece had taken off in a hurry with a Stanosa."

He gives me his trademark questionable eyebrow. I fight the urge to laugh, " Something happened so I left with Dean. He helped make the day better."

I again raise my hand to my lips and feel that they are a little swollen from our kiss. I smile again. My Uncle gives me his questionable eyebrow again and this time I do laugh.

I walk pass him and head to the kitchen to grab some water. I stopp suddenly when I see my Father sitting at the counter. He locks eyes on me and seems to be at a loss of words.

I want to be mad at him for staying away from me and another part of me wants to snuggle up in a ball in his arms like I use to when I was little.

I give in to the ladder and run to him. He opens his arms when I get close to him. He pulls me into his lap and I start to cry.

He kisses my head, " I am so sorry Wavester. I should have been here for you. I was just so lost that I didn't know what to do."

I cry harder and hold him closer to me. I don't when I stopped crying but I slowly fell asleep in my Father's arms.

I have my Daddy back.

Dean's POV

HOLY s**t I KISSED HER!! TWICE!!

I pull into my parking spot at home and get out of the vehicle. I kissed her and I felt the bond slide into place. She is my mate.

I wonder if she felt what I had felt when we kissed?

I look over and see that Kaden is here so I am not going inside and dealing with all that drama. I decide to head over to the Training Field and do a quick work out.

Once I am in the Field I see Calvin working out as well. He sees me and starts laughing, " So I heard some pretty funny s**t today man."

I drop down to the ground and begin doing sit ups, " Oh yeah what did you hear that was funny?"

Calvin stops doing his push ups and moves closer to me to hold my feet, " Rumor has it you were mackin on Kaden's mate and that he caught you."

I answer, " Ain't a rumor."

Calvin scoffs, " Dude that is so wrong. You kissed your brother's mate."

I answer, " Well if you went to school like the rest of us you would know that she rejected him today."

Calvin in a high pitch voice says, " WHAT??? Tell me everything."

I finally stop doing my sit ups, " Waverly caught him basically having s*x with some other chick and she rejected him in front of half the school. She wanted to get away so I took her out to have some fun and the next thing you know we were kissing. Well we were till Major f**k Up found us."

Calvin laughed, " Wait Waverly? As in Princess Waverly? Our Future Queen?"

I give Calvin a dumb look and he sits back and laughs more. I huff, " There is something else BUT if I tell you, you gotta promise to keep your mouth shut."

He nods. I tell him, " I felt the mating bond when I kissed her."

Calvin scoots back a little, " Holy Fucknation! Your mate is your brother's mate?"

I growl, " I told you she rejected him! You can't tell anyone not until I know she feels it as well."

Calvin nods at me, " I will keep silent about it. What are you gonna do?"

I shake my head, " I honestly don't know."

Calvin and I decide not to talk anymore and to finish working out.

After the work out I head back inside needing a shower and a couple hours of sleep but it doesn't seem like that is in my future.

I walk into the house and I hear my Father yell, " DEAN THOMAS STANOSA!! GET YOUR ASS IN HERE NOW!"

I make my way to Father's office, " Full name twice in one day well that is new."

I see that Kaden is also in here and wearing his pissed off facial expression. I sit down in the chair next to me, " What can I do for you Alpha?"

My Father growls, " Watch how you speak to me pup! Now what is this I hear about you taking off with your brother's mate and forcing yourself on her?"

I glare at Kaden, " Did he tell you that she rejected him? I only offered to get her away from everyone's prying eyes. Also I didn't force myself onto her. She kissed me."

My Father makes his way around his desk and yells, " I KNOW THAT SHE REJECTED HIM. HE WAS ON HIS WAY TO MAKE IT RIGHT BUT YOU HAD TO BE A f*****g HERO AND GET HIS GLORY!"

I had enough so I stood up, " Glory? Glory of what Father? HE f****d up and she rejected him in front of everyone. There is no way she would ever forgive him for what he did. Kaden doesn't deserve her."

Kaden spits out, " And what you do? She is my mate not yours."

I want so badly to yell that she is indeed my mate but I bite my tongue. My father runs his hands through his hair as if collecting his thoughts, " As of this moment Dean you are to keep your distance from Princess Waverly so that Kaden can fix this. Am I understood?"

I smirk, " I will keep my distance BUT I can't promise that she will stay away from me."

With that being said I left my Father's office and headed to my room to grab a towel so I could shower.

On the way up the stairs I heard my phone ding. I grab my phone and see that it is a message from Waverly:

" I wanted to thank you again for today. I had a lot of fun. DO NOT BELIEVE ANYTHING OUT OF KADEN'S MOUTH! Also... We need to talk about our kiss."

I smile and respond, " I had fun as well. I agree we do need to talk about the kiss. Just name a time and place I will be there."

I place my phone on the desk waiting her reply. After a few minutes of waiting for a message I decide to go take my shower. I would see the message once I got out of the shower.

My Father and Kaden both wanted me to stay away from her but I wouldn't. She is my mate and I will do anything to make her happy. If Kaden wants to fight the so be it there would be a fight.
