Possible Mates

Waverly's POV

I successfully made it through the rest of the day without running into Kaden or hearing anymore whispers about my mother. I was standing over by the statue of the school mascot which was ironically a wolf. I was starring out at the road not really paying attention to anyone or anything when I felt a body collide into mine causing me to fall to the ground.

I managed to catch myself before I fully hit the ground. I ended up only scraping my hands from where I caught myself. I look at the person who ran into me and I catch my breath. I stare into another pair of dark gray eyes just like Kaden's and he even looked like Kaden but it wasn't him. The guy extends his hand to help me and I accept his help.

Now that I am fully standing I can take a good long look at him. Yep he looks just like Kaden. They both have dark gray eyes, sandy blonde hair, chisled jaw, well built body, and dimples. The only thing this guy had that was different from Kaden was a slightly hidden scar over his right eyebrow.

I noticed that he was still holding my hand and I quickly jerked it away from him when i felt a surge of tingles. He smiled, " I am so sorry for running into you. You must be new here."

I nod. He smiles again even deeper which causes his dimples to show even more, " My name is Dean. You are probably wondering why I look so much like Kaden. The answer is that I am his twin brother. He is the eldest by 2 minutes, which he never lets me live down."

I laugh at that, " I know how that goes. Twins run in my family."

He laughed at that, " So you know my name, might I know yours?"

I sigh, " Waverly Ectera."

You would think that once he heard my last name he would drop into a bow or his eyes would get big but nope he stood there with that big smile on his face. He finally spoke after a few seconds, "Well it is nice to meet you Waverly."

He looks over my shoulder which lets me know that my ride is now here to take me home. I turn and see Keaton in the driver seat smiling like a fool at me.

I turn back at look at Dean, " Well that is my ride. I should go."

Dean nods, " I will see you around Waverly."

I grab my backpack off the ground and head toward the vehicle. Once I close the door and put on my seatbelt Keaton finally says, " Well slap my ass and call me Spanky that is one fine ass pup."

I start laughing, " Keep saying things like that and I will tell Uncle you are eye raping teenage boys Plus isn't he your nephew?."

Keaton mocks a hurt sound and placed his hand over his heart, " I am a happily mated wolf and plus Thorn wouldnever believe that a young mutt would turn my head. Yes Sugar Dumpling he is my nephew and is he the one you think is the ONE?"

I shake my head, " No that is his twin brother Dean. Kaden is the one I think is my mate."

Keaton starts up the vehicle and we head off toward home. When we are about to enter our land he gasps loudly, " Wait you think my nephew Kaden is your mate?"

I nod at him and give him a questionable look.

He pulls in front of the house and looks at me, " Oh Dumpling lets hope he aint your mate!"

Dean's POV

Waverly is the most beautiful thing I have ever seen. She has long chestnut brown hair, brown eyes, hourglass figure, and the most kissable lips. I watch as the car she got into drives away before I head over to Kaden's Jeep.

Kaden was already in the driver seat as I climbed into the passenger seat next to him. He looks over at me, " What took you so long?"

I shrugged, " Ran into the new girl."

Kaden laughs, " Fine piece of ass ain't she?"

I smirk, " That she is. You gonna see if your charm will work on royalty?"

Kaden slides on his sunglasses and starts the car, " I might but I am pretty sure that the Princess is my mate."

I busted out laughing, " NO s**t! Mr. No Mate actually found his mate."

Kade shakes his head, " s**t just cause she is my mate don't mean I gotta stop working the field."

I shake my head. Is my dumbass twin really about to make a horrible mistake?

I look over at him as he speeds his way back to our pack lands. He pulls up next to the house and we both jump out and head to our separate rooms.

I place my backpack on the ground and throw myself on the bed and think.

So Kaden may have found his mate and was already planning to f**k her over. I really don't know Waverly but I know the history of her pack and her family. I close my eyes and I already bring up her image in my mind.

I groan at how hard I am by just remembering how she looks. She is off limits in so many ways. Firstly, she is royal. Secondly, she is most likely my brother's mate. Lastly, our father can't stand her Uncle the King.

No one outside of the family really knows why but my father was jealous that Alpha Thorn was named King instead of him.

I honestly don't give a s**t about what my father and Kaden do.

Our father holds the highest position in the Council and that still isn't good enough for him. He wanted to be the one to call the shots and wear the crown. Kaden just wants all the females that come with the title and believes everything could be settled with either war or a good f**k.

I am fine with my position in life. I am technically the second born even though I am a twin. Kaden is older by two minutes so he will be Alpha and I will take Father's place on the Council.

If Waverly truly is Kaden's mate then that would mean that the Crown will pass to Waverly and her mate making Kaden King of the Wolves.

Everyone knew that Waverly was King Thorn's heir due to the fact that he is mated to a Male wolf and the Crown could only be passed to a blood relative. Since Waverly is a female she would become the Luna Queen and her mate would be Alpha King of the Wolves.

Oh Godess picture it now my brother the King. The thought makes me laugh. Knowing Kaden and how he plans to have a mate and keep f*****g other females, it would blow up in his face.

I guess all I can do is sit back and watch it all unfold.
