LUKE'S POV The minute I had crossed the last mark that signified the end of the pack's territory I shifted back to my human form and applied the ointment that covered up my scent. I was now getting into no mans land that crawled with all kinds of rogues. It was pretty early and I hoped to cover more ground before sunset and hopefully get a safe place to settle and rest for the night. I was feeling pretty hungry and I had yet to come across an animal I could hunt.
