“Mom? Are you okay?” Lizzie asked as she jumped up from her chair and rushed over to her mother.   Kneeling in front of her, she reached out to put her hand on her mother’s arm.   Her father had also risen from his chair and hurried over to his wife.   “Jordyn? Honey? Are you okay?” he asked, running his hand over her hair.   Her mother nodded, smiling shakily at them.   “I’m fine,” she said, looking between her husband and her daughter.   “What happened?” Lizzie asked.  Her mother shook her head and said, “I’m not sure. I think the cup just slipped from my hand.”  Looking down at the cup, which was on its side, she said, “It’s a good thing it was almost empty.
