Loud beetles music played from the speakers in Jamie’s room as he playfully danced around while Derek snicker from his gestures

They had been best friends for a while but Derek had gone past that and seen Jamie more than just a best friend,

It was a clear difference from just normal friend ship, he knows because he woke up the other night with a hard on from a dream that was occupied with Jamie, which made him so embarrassed to see the older in school or at home, even making his visits to the Alistair house less frequent.

Jamie had thought he had actually done something wrong that day, pouting and following the younger around, who tried his best to avoid his friend who just he just had a horny dream and not so chaste escapades with,

He knew hat he had with Jamie was different between what he has with Cole and Luca, they were his closest friends who joked around and fought in the snow a lot, he wouldn’t hesitate hitting them so hard with the block of snow, but with Jamie he either defended or blocked their attacks because , Jamie was.... different.

“Hey!” Jamie called over the music bring Derek back to the present , with Jamie’s face being awfully close to his, he could count the tiny freckles that dusted his nose and cheeks that he had to back up a little bit from the proximity.

“Sorry did you say something?”

“Dude , I asked if you were going to eat pizza? My mom just ordered” he explained to Derek again who just nodded offhandedly, before laying down back.

But as soon as looked up he saw Jamie look at him but as their eyes met, the older swiftly turned away

“So, your assignment how is that going?” Jamie asked trying change the subject and room from the intent silence

“s**t I left it at home”

“No worries you can just sketch me instead”Jamie insisted, looked of surprise Derek had was almost comical, but he didn’t object as he immediately got to sketching.

And God those sinful familiar lips he sees all the time in his dreams haunted him,

His slightly long hair packed in a half manbun giving him an illusion of a halo from the sun illuminating from his window

“God he was so beautiful,” Derek thought not knowing he said the last word out loud

Looking up to meet Jamie’s eyes who looked stunned before he recalled what he just did

“Hey Derek! Derek?” Jamie called as he followed him down to the side walk of his house, it was already dark with the street light coming on , the taller walked fast not dare stoping as his face was red as a potato,

But then he felt a grab, before he was whirled around to look at Jamie who was panting from from trying to keeep up.

“Hey, don’t walk away like that, it’s alright Derek, what you said doesn’t cause for panic we’re friends right”

“No, Jamie no we aren’t”

“What?”

“You know we aren’t “

“I just, what do you mean?” Jamie asked frantically

“Just please hear me out alright.....I like you Jamie, so much, much than I should, I know we are friends and I know you may not feel that way, but I'm sure you would have noticed, I was so sure you will, I'm sorry if after this-“

Derek didn’t even finish as Jamie grabbed him into a searing kiss, shutting him up from the babble.

“What, Jamie what does this mean?”

“It means I like you, you i***t, I wasn't stunned by your outburst not because I didn't like you, I was just stunned because like you so much and it amazing for you to say that I was beautiful.”

“Jamie please don't joke, I'm to fragile for that” Derek whispers as their foreheads were joined together

“I guess I was the fool in love first Jamie let out as he comes through dereks wavy locks,

“Go for it Mr king,” Jamie uttered as their lips met again in Bliss.

“You’re mine now, you cant kiss anyone or like anyone from me , I can’t share you, I won’t”

“Wow so sappy Derek,” Jamie utters amusingly as he got in his tippy toes to hug the taller,

Because Jamie wasn’t born with that of a great height, which he got made fun of by his friends for,

“You wanna come back in for pizza, it’s your favorite, it’s gonna get cold soon,”Jamie whispers in dereks neck which cause a shiver

“Does that mean we -“

“-We what?”

“We are dating now? that we are together?”Derek asked with wonder as his eyes glittered In eagerness

“After that kiss? You’re all mine Derek king , and I’m not letting you go anytime soon.”

It was very ironic to Derek on how they were standing on the same side walk they confessed to each other for the first time,

The elements were just out to get him, and the worst being the figure standing before him

“Hey Derek,” Jamie said with a sad smile and a little glint of hope on his face as he looked up to Derek for acknowledgment,

“What are you doing here?” Jamie said with a glint of hope in his eyes, since it was clearly his house.

“Luca lives close remember? I was just walking”

“Oh, ok, you wanna come in?”

“Cut the bullshit Jamie, we don't get to so this”derek let out as he pointed to them both “we are not that close that you'd invite me in”

“Derek...”

“I have to go,” he uttered even if he saw the pure hurt in jamies face,

Derek himself was still too hurt to care, “bye Jamie.”

Fuck, he utters as he sped walked back to Lucas house, his moms car already gone, but he didn't have the strength to take a cab, he would just stay at luca even if he's still vexed.

Derek quietly climbed up the stairs, seeing Cole and Luca were still playing game, he just walked to the queen sized bed and tiredly slumped on it.

“Sorry about earlier his friend luca called out as he paused the ongoing game.”

“Don't worry about it,” Derek called called as he could help recall Jamie’s hurt face.
