A game of feelings

The party on a Friday night was something Derek wasn't too excited for, his partner jasmine was so into it that he had to go

It wasn’t just a small party since most of the school was invited,

It got more tolerable for Derek as he saw Cole and Luca there, he couldn’t help but sigh in relief before joining them,

His girlfriend running out go with her friends to talk, about God knows what leaving the guys to just chill, Cole came with his boyfriend, who was clinged to him the whole night making Luca anf Derek fake gag from their outgoing affection.

There was a relief yet curiousness to why someone had not arrived but Derek had just brushed it off, not even a few seconds later the door opened up

“Looked who just walked in” Luca whistled gaining dereks attention

revealing Jamie who walked in with a Gucci jacket and open navy v inner top paired with leather pants, his blond hair from the party lights caused a halo, that just made him all the more glorious to look at.

he looked like a god , making a lot of people stare after him in lust, for a split moment Derek and Jamie’s eyes met before Derek cowered and turned away sipping his mixed drink , “didn’t need to know that Luca”

“Didn’t force you to look anyway”, he said

They had met again two times after the studio, each day becoming more better, he wouldn’t lie , most time he just wanted to blurt out and scream to him why he left, but they had agreed on being civil so Derek will keep to that, being civil.

They were in their own little circle before, jasmine walked to them, with the same person he just avoided eyes contact with, Jamie, who looked like he was dragged to be there, he practically was by dereks girlfriend, but still had on a smile on his face none the less.

“Babe, this is Jamie I was talking to you about, you know ? The dancer!?”, making the three best friends look at each other nervously,

“Um, yeah we kinda know each other,” Luca slipped out making jasmine look at them in. Confusion and for him to explain more,

Even Jamie looked a bit panicked, but before lava could table he was kicked in the shin, by Derek, who changed the tone

“What he meant was that we know each other from, professor woods class, we are project partners”

“Really! that’s cool, but you act like you didn’t know him when I was talking about him the other night”

“I thought it was different Jamie, it’s a big school love, “

Jamie just watched whole scene unfold as he sipped his drink, like they weren’t practically taking about him in his presence,

“Ok, let’s just forget about it,” jasmine said in a hush before Hannah came by,

“Hey guys”

“hey,” the small group added

“We actually want to start a game, and we need you guys , you in?”

“I’m in!” Luca practically screamed jumping off the chair, Coles boyfriend also nodded and the others agreed

I don’t know , Jamie let out , like he didn’t want to intrude

Jamie please join, Hannah begged

Before he accepted, looking at Derek skeptically if he had made the right choice, he knew he did but it would have been more suspicious if he didn’t join,

The night was just beginning

“Ok! Let’s start the game of spin the bottle of truth or dare!” Hannah called enthusiastically earning whoops and cheers from the crowd of nine people.

“Game simple, the bottle meets you and the the person opposite you get you ask a truth or dare questions, let’s go!” She called

Before the game started, it moved on with small dares with kissing and a little nudity but not too bad, they were all being good sports

Turning more gun as Luca kissed the life out of an unsuspecting guy after a dare making everyone laugh.

until, Allie, Hannah’s friend looked at everyone and had an idea, making it better the bottle stoped on her prey Jamie,

Who she actually wanted fro herself

“Jamie, truth or dare”

“Easy truth”

“Is there anyone you like here?” She asked the blonde hoping he would say her, before he turned to Derek looking him straight in the eyes than smiling before he swallowed his vodka

Making everyone holler

“Boo,” Hannah Called already wasted, “that wasn’t even hard,”

The game then changed to a different one, which was the “never have I ever” game

With Allie still persistently pursuing Jamie

“Ok!”

“Never have I ever been in love with someone here she started making only seven people people bring their hands down”

“Ohh? Full house”

“Ok, never had be ever slept with someone here, “

Making five people including Jamie, Derek, jasmine, Cole and his boyfriend but their hands down

“That’s odd?,” Jamie why is your hands down Allie asked with a mishevious glint

Derek was already sweating bullets, Jamie really was out to get him, is he toting with me? He must be. Derek thought

“It was me!” Cole shouted as he left his boyfriend side

“We are in love guys” he joked with exaggerated sighs making the group laugh,

But Derek with nervous laughter as his girlfriend just looked at him skeptically, like she knew something was up.

“I gotta go,” Jamie uttered standing up and dusting his pants since they were all sprawled on Hannah’s backyard porch

“What?! It’s just 11pm”

“Yeah, and I have to get to sleep thank you for inviting me again, “

“yeah we’ll see you on Monday Jamie, Miss Catherine wants us for practice on Monday morning.”

“I’ll be there, bye,” he called looking at Derek one last time before he departed

“I think we will go too” jasmine Called as soon as a Jamie left, he knew something was up since her eyes and expression at changed at some point during the game.

“Let go?” She called to Derek offering her hand with a tight lipped smile bidding farewell to the latter before they left.

They took a cab home in silence, it got so awkward , he feel even know how, maybe she had caught on, maybe she knows what he had been hiding.

Shit, s**t, was the only thing that Derek kept chanting in his mind as they rose up the elevator to his floor,

With jasmine having her own spare keys stepped in first, dropping of her shoes as he went straight for water to sober up, while he went to couch to rest his head before he heard her make her way to the living room sitting opposite him,

“Derek?” she called quietly,

“Yeah?” he answered with his eyes closed since he was still a little drowsy

“Is there anything you want to tell me?”

Making him open his eyes as look at her, and she was damn serious.
