“You have a meeting now at a restaurant... Wait, why have a meeting at a restaurant when you have a company and an office?”
“It's none of your business, who am I having a meeting with?” Logan asked as they both walked into his private elevator.
“Mr. Griffo.”
“What is the meeting about?”
“He wants to make a deal with you, I think about the release of your new product.”
“Call him and cancel it.”
“What?”
“Yes, I have somewhere else I need to be.”
“What about me?”
“You are coming with me.”
“Why are you rejecting the deal?”
“Am not rejecting it, am asking you to reschedule it.”
“Fine.”
They both walked out of the elevator and Lydia made the call to Mr. Griffo’s company about the rescheduling of the meeting.
They both got outside and Logan paused before turning to Lydia.
“On a second thought, wait here at the company till I get back, you don't have to go with me.”
“What? You made me walk down here for nothing?”
“Do you have a problem with it?” Logan asked with a stern face and she bowed.
“Am sorry sir.”
“Good, you must not leave the office till I get back and you are in charge.”
“But what if you get back late?”
“No matter how long I take, wait for me till I get back.” He said and entered his car, he drove away immediately before she could utter another word.
Lydia sighed and walked back into the company.

HOURS LATER
It was ten in the night and Logan wasn't back yet, Lydia was beginning to get worried and restless.
Worried because she is thinking something will be wrong with Logan or maybe he forgot that she was there and restless because Henry will be expecting her already.
She paced around and sighed repeatedly, after a while, she checked the time and saw it was almost midnight. She decided to leave not caring what he would say, she picked up her bag and was about to walk out when he walked in.
“You are leaving?” He asked as he leaned on the wall.
“Really? You are asking if I am leaving? Take a look at the time, it is midnight already, and am supposed to be at home.” She yelled at him and he rolled his eyes.
“You are really rude, you shouldn't talk to me like that and besides you aren't a kid anymore so you should not be worried about getting home late.”
“I might not be a kid anymore but I have responsibilities and things to do with my life.” She said and walked out angrily. She started thinking of ways to make up a lie and apologize to Henry.

Henry sighed and looked at the time as he waited for Lydia, he planned on giving her a full gist about how his day went with Claire.
He waited till it was past midnight and laughed, he felt so sad and disappointed than he has ever been.
He tried as much as possible to fight every negative thought that kept coming to his head as he struggled to lay on the bed.
A tear rolled down his eyes and he chuckled before wiping it off.
After a while, he fell asleep and hoped all of his negative thoughts aren't true.

THE NEXT DAY
Henry slowly opened his eyes and saw Lydia pacing around, she was dressed in a cooperate wear and he sighed.
Lydia suddenly noticed he was awake and rushed to him, Henry ignored her and closed his eyes back.
“Henry, come on.” She said and he ignored her.
“Am sorry I didn't show up last night, I already told you before I won't be coming here frequently like I used to.” She said and he still ignored her.
Lydia sighed and touched his hair.
“I have to go now.” She said and he opened his eyes.
“Again?” He asked.
“Henry, I know and am really sorry... “ Henry didn't let her complete her statement and he closed his eyes back.
Lydia sighed and wiped the tear that was about to fall from her eyes.
“I have to go now, I already bought you breakfast and lunch, and am not yet sure if I will be back so early tonight or I will be back at all.”
“You are abandoning me right?” Henry asked and opened his eyes.
“What? How can... “
“It is fine if you are, I understand that I am a burden to you, you can just leave me here.”
“No, you are not. Am sorry I wasn't here last night but if you can just give me a chance to explain then I will.”
“Really? You want a chance to explain more lies?”
“Henry where is all this coming from?”
“Go away, Lydia.”
“I know you are mad at me right now and how about I make you a promise? I will be back very early this night and I will stay with you like always.”
“Don't make a promise you can't fulfill, bye.”
He said and closed his eyes, Lydia sighed and smiled, she bent a bit and pecked his forehead before walking out.

Lydia walked into Logan's office with his coffee and placed it on his table without a word. Logan looked up at her and raised a brow, it is very unlike her to act that way and he noticed how she has been behaving since morning.
She was about to walk out and he called her back.
“Yes sir?” She replied with a bow.
“What’s up with you?”
“Nothing.”
“Really? You are really acting weird.”
“It's nothing sir.”
She replied and walked out without letting him say another word.
Minutes later, Lydia walked in with a man and Logan looked up.
“Sir, there is a man here that is here to see you, and his name is Eddy,” Lydia said and Logan sighed while the man behind her laughed.
“Jerk,” Logan muttered.
