I have never hunted a swan before. I have hunted birds, foxes, bears, and lions. I have also hunted men, mostly, wanted criminals or traitors.
But swans? Why would I hunt them? They are elegant creatures and they don’t cause any trouble, generally.
I understand some nobles hunt swans for their feathers or even for their beaks that are rumored to have healing magic. Some also hunt swans and put the animals in their pond or lake.
Those nobles don’t include me. I prefer to hunt bigger animals. The stronger, faster, and more challenging animals. Before I turn into a wolf almost every night, I used to make it a habit to go to each of the five vessel kingdoms’ forests and then hunt rare animals with no weapons.
