Third POV
Annette woke up, finding herself being carried by Franbel, as he ran quickly with a huge worm with fangs in its mouth. A scaled and hardened body filled with spikes followed them at a fast pace. It looked ready to rip their heads off. She became alert after seeing the blind creature. She understood why the old man ran off without even stopping, yet she wished he would have warned them about the creature that was on their tail.
Annette and Franbel had started to move quickly, as the sound from the worm got louder and were desperately trying to outrun the creature. The old man must probably have been annoyed and would try to kill them in its moment of anger.
