“What happened here?” Felix asked Lucia, as he watched her get bandaged up by Paul, who left after he was done with her wound, allowing the twelve-year-old girl to speak to her brother. “I got kidnapped again, and I was still weak.” Lucia said quietly, bowing her head in shame, afraid to look Felix in the eye as she felt like a huge disappointment like nothing had changed, that she was still that little kid that was used by people whose greed could touch the very sky itself. “You aren’t weak. It’s just that-“ Felix stopped talking, not sure how he was going to phrase his words as he might have hurt her even more if he continued to speak. “Nevermind, let’s just focus on getting you home.” He stood up, dusting himself as he forwarded his hands towards her, she hit his hand aggressively.
