Everyone was blown forward and to the ground from the force of the explosion. Day fell to his knees as he blocked Ethan with his body. Morgan was also thrown forward and to his knees, as his body shielded the young boy. The sound was deafening and Morgan shook his head as
silence blanketed the area once again.
Morgan lifted his head and looked to his right to find Angelo next to him lying on his stomach, but he was safe. Morgan turned to look over his shoulder at the structure. What little remained of the shelter was now in flames, burning the remains to the ground.
