I groaned in pain and tried to open my eyes but my lids were too heavy to open. “Easy, love…. You are still healing,” My ears perked up when I heard Hunter’s gentle voice asking me something. I tried to open my eyes again but felt his hand on my shoulder. "Take it easy... you're hurt, and your movements can reopen your wounds," he said, stopping me from moving my body, which was in excruciating pain right now.
