I told him everything that I had come to know about Hunter’s first mate’s death and Hunter’s plan of announcing me as his chosen mate to keep me safe from the killer, who was still unknown. “To be honest, Hazel, I think you should accept him as your chosen mate in front of everyone. Technically, you are already his mate. I can understand his concern about your safety too.
