I did not wish to wake up today. I had no desire to go out of the Palace in search of Arkin’s bride. But it was something I had to do, not just for the prosperity of the Kingdom but for Arkin’s happiness as well. After bathing and having my morning meal, I instructed the court ladies to prepare for departure. I put on my veil and hoped that no one would recognize me, because if they did then no would wish to talk to me. The elders might just prevent the children from speaking to me.
