When my eyes opened, Damian was already gone from the room.
*Breath
"He didn't even bother to wish me happy birthday!"

Three maids came inside with hands full of gifts and new dresses.
"Master Damian sent these for you." One of them said in her sweet tone.
"But where is he?" My lips asked.
"He will visit you at night, so wear one of these dresses." Having said that, they stepped out of the room.
"So he does remember my birthday!" My cheeks turned red and I kicked my legs in the air.
Later at night…
"Happy Birthday!" His deep voice reached my ears.
