As soon as I woke up I checked my messages to make sure Linley got my message last night. I asked her to organise for the removal of all my things from the King’s mansion today.
She sent me a lot of thumbs up and happy smiley face emojy’s to confirm. I tried to smile at that but couldn’t. I know she was happy but I was still struggling, even though I shouldn’t.
I arrived at work early as I didn’t bother having breakfast at home and just grabbed something on the way. Why bother making dishes or mess on my last morning in the King mansion, my soon to be former home.
I walked past the staff room and stopped when I heard people talking about me making a mistake of some kind. What mistake?
