Milly was not the woman I was expecting.
They had explained how she was kind, caring, had a heart of gold and would give the shirt off her back,.
The Milly I married was like that to start with until her façade started to slip recently. The cold and calculating truth had been showing its ugly face. My favourite part was when she pretended to care when it suited her.
When she had tried to sully Carly’s name, it was the last straw.
I had put up with Milly for a month. Only a month of marriage and it was enough.
I want to marry the woman I loved … Carly.
My wolf and I have never agreed and unfortunately this was just another thing. My wolf for some reason liked Milly and hated Carly. Just goes to show not all animal instincts are correct.
