Amelia’s pov
“Haigh Ed”I said to Edward as I sat next to him.
“Die duit”he smiled kindly at me.
Die duit: Hi there.
Edward is an old man, everyday he impresses me more by his sportive body. Even if he is older than 60, he always manages to do cart wheels, funny right!
“Why are you sitting here all alone, old man?”I teased him trying to get an answer out of him.
He sighed and ignored my silliness “I miss her, everything about her”he said making me roll my eyes.
I knew how bad it was for him. 3 years ago, his wife Betty left him because she accused him of cheating with ME. I’m as old as his youngest daughter or oldest grandchild, how can she think this.
I always knew that she didn’t love him, she just wanted to have fun and made an excuse to leave him after she got bored. Poor Edward was always trying to make her happy by cooking her favorite meals, braiding her hair and even massaging her feet.
I would want to be bis girlfriend if he agreed, but I’m just like a daughter to him. He truly loved her and she simply lied like that.
He has been a father figure to me since we met which was 5 years ago, I was a lost 19 girl with high hopes of being a pirate and he helped me a lot with it.
Without him, I am nothing. I am really grateful he is an important part in my life and I thank god everyday for making me have such nice people as my crew.
“Ed, you know you have to forget her. It’s been 3 freaking year"I caressed his arm before leaning in for a hug.
He patted my back as I held him like my life depended on him.
“I’ll always be here for you, dad”I muttered.
He quickly pushed me back and smiled. “What did you say?” He asked.
“Dad”I repeated.
“I love it when you call me that, please keep on saying it”he laughed trying to hold back his tears.
“I still remember what you asked me after a month we’ve met. You wanted me to call you ‘dad’ and I finally did so”I said.
“Capo, we arrived”I heard someone shout.
I smiled at Ed and left him there, got out of the room and walked up the stairs.
I looked around feeling a wave of emotions. England. Oh how I missed you.
We passed by the King and Queen palace, I stopped and turned around to look at it.
“Turn around. Turn around”I yelled as I ran back inside heading straight to my room.
Mikayla entered after me hurriedly and asked “What’s the matter? We can’t go back when we just arrived”.
She was right, we needed some rest first and I’m sure no one would notice me. I am a siren now, I look different than before.
“Yo-you are right. We will even attend the prince’s wedding”I smiled.
She gasped “No way!! Oh my god. You’re amazing”she squealed showering me with hugs and kisses.
“Okay okay, you can go now”I laughed.
She walked out, I sat on my bed and muttered “I hope I won’t have to see you tomorrow”.

“Capo! Capo! Wake up”I heard someone shout.
I opened my eyes preparing myself to shout at who ever dared to wake me up. But when I saw Alex’s face, I calmed down and smiled.
“Mom said we have to get ready. The wedding will start after 15 hours”I groaned loudly and got back to sleep.
“That means it’s 5 am for God’s sake. The wedding starts on 8 pm”.
“But mom said if you don’t wake up she will ha-“before he continued, the door barged open and entered a furious Mikayla.
“If you don’t wake up at this moment, I will have to drag you by your hair”she said making Alex and I stare at each other for some seconds before bursting into laughter.
“What are you laughing about”she shouted.
“Yo-you just con-conti-continued his sentence”I said before laughing hard.
“Get up now Amelia or I swear you won’t like the consequences”She dared me raising up her finger.
“Hey! Don’t threaten my Capo”Alex frowned and hugged me making me stick my tongue out for Mikayla.
“You’re preferring her over your own mom. I will cry”she faked crying which made Alex run to her and hug her legs.
“I love both of you the same mommy, don’t cry”he pouted.
“Okay enough of all this cuteness, now shoo away I have to change my clothes”I pushed them outside and walked to my closet.
