Ashton’s pov
“Ashton hurry up, you’re gonna be late”my dad shouted from outside my locked room.
“5 minutes more and I will be down”I shouted back.
“You’ve been saying this for a whole hour”he complained.
“I know, sorry dad. But I swear I’ll be down in 5 minutes”I looked out the window.
I heard his footsteps fading away making me smirk. ‘Oh I would really be down after 5 minutes but outside the house not on the inside’I chuckled and opened the balcony doors.
“Sorry dad”I said as I jumped down on the grass of the back garden. I landed on my butt causing me to jump in pain and let out a small whimper.
‘That hurts’I muttered and rubbed the place where I felt pain. I walked outside and waited for the security guards to shift. Every 3 hours, the guards take turns on their places and now it’s 6 pm so that’s the time for me to escape.
I looked around to see the men that were standing on the back side of the building moving forward. I quickly turned my head around and found no one there.
I didn’t think twice before running as fast as I can outside the gates. I kept running and trying my best to ignore the voices behind me.
I knew it. I can never return back, my father wouldn’t except me ever in his life.
I jumped on Maximus, my horse and rode away from them. They didn’t expect Max to be there, I had planned it all along to be faster than them. “Mision accomplished”I smirked. But what I hadn’t thought of was were I should go. I facepalmed myself mentally as I remembered.
“Ughhh how dumb of me”I shouted at no one. I rode my horse slower when I was sure no one was following me anymore.
After a few hours, I stopped near the beach and looked at the soft waves. I sighed when I realized that I was moving around in circles all this time. I took a deep breath smelling the smell of the salty water, the one I rarely have the chance to smell.
I got off Maximus and sat on one of the benches. I heard a loud noise that sounded like horses running in the street.
I turned my face around when I saw Maximus running to another bunch of horses. I quickly recognized them as the other horses in our suburb and our men that were riding them.
I felt my heart stop beating and sweat started forming on my face. I immediately stood up and run forward.
I didn’t know how did that happen but I just found myself running on a long wood trying to get on a giant ship.
I jumped down and walked inside. It looked like a house from the inside, I wanted so badly to discover every room in there but I was an aristocrat and had morals.
“I leally liked the food, Lia”I heard a young voice, it was cute how he talked.
I froze in my place when I realized what position I put myself in now. I am looking like a thief trying to steal them but at least I’m wearing nice clothes.
I didn’t wait for another second when I opened the door and entered the room.
Oh no, what am I gonna do.
