“Alpha David? Mila’s awake now and she wants to see you.” As soon as I heard that, I quickly jumped out of the sofa and ran to open the door. Grace was waiting in the office doorway to give me any other information I need.
“She’s awake? How is she now? Is she okay? Is she still freaking out?” I showered her with questions without letting her have a chance to reply.
“She’s fine. She is back into her normal self. Almost. But she asked for you. Alone.” That made me more worried about her. She wants to see me alone? She never says that to anyone’s face. Especially Grace’s. Did she truly lost her trust in others?
“Okay. I will check on her. Mom, dad. Wait for me here. I will see if I can make her meet you properly.” T
