Fire Crystal (Part Three)

The land roared because of all the chaos happening across the land of the blazing souls because of the big battle that is currently happening. Pyro and Kamandag each face one of the dark commanders that serve under Borjr and Arthur is busy fighting the dark soldiers that get close to the cave.

Amidst the battle there is someone that faces her dark past once again, Kamandag that once brought onslaught in the underworld by deceiving and killing men, she has a partner once that helped her and shared her spoils with.

“Did you also kill your sister?” Crink asked, he is heavily armored and he is wielding a giant sword that can slice through anything. Kamandag didn’t bite the bait, she knows that he is trying to get in her head to distract her.

“I know you Crink, nice try,” she said while her glowing claws is expanding to match the length of his sword. Crink laughed as if he was amused to see his old friend like this, at least back then. They are enemies, to each other, under different ideals.

“You never changed,” Crink remarked. His color is blue and his two tusk like fangs is exposed because of how huge it is. His eyes are colored gold, befitting his greed for wealth. What Kamandag don’t know that Crink is also blessed by their king after she left. Cain heard about Kamandag but he was too late when he arrived on the city where she brings her terror.

He intended to recruit her as one of his dark generals, but when he saw her again, they were taken by the knight which soon her sister’s, Amaya, lover.

“You are still greedy as ever,” Kamandag replied as if they are still the old acquaintances they were. Crink laughed again.

“It’s not too late Kamandag,” Crink said. “Join our side and soon my king will conquer this world, and with my recommendation, we can fight side by side again,” he convinced the awakened fairy, but Kamandag won’t go back to that path again.

“I got away from that path, I will never go back,” she rejected his offer.

“So, you are a goody two shoes creature now huh?” he said after hearing her rejection. “Don’t forget the lives that you have taken back then, that state that you are in right now, you don’t even deserve it,” he added.

“You don’t know me,” she said. “And no matter what you say that will not sway my heart and here I will take your life to reduce one evil in this world,” she said and she prepared her claws for clashing with Crink’s sword.

“Then so be it,” Crink said and he took the initiative and ran towards Kamandag and he swung his sword towards Kamandag but the fairy blocked the attack, and she pushed him away from her. As soon as the dark commander stood his ground, he then tried again, but Kamandag transformed into her snake form to avoid that attack, and quickly shifted back to fly away.

She felt that Crink can match her current power and she does not know what happened to him, she is low key underestimating her enemy. Her claws that’s been glowing bright, turned into bright purple, after she channeled her venom to it. Crink noticed it and he is very well aware of this.

“So, you are really trying to kill me,” he remarked and he charged his strength and sprung forward to the fairy. Kamandag was surprised that he can reach her and she didn’t have the time to react on it. She was tackled by the dark commander and Crink pinned the fairy to the ground.

“You are not the only one that powered up,” he said and stab his sword towards her but it only stabbed the ground as the fairy got out of it quickly by once again transforming into her snake form. She cannot bite through his armor, as it is stone hard.

She transformed once again back in her fairy form and Poison is continuously warning her about his next moves. She was instructed that she can attack him from behind and used her claws to scratch him. Crink growled in pain when it pierced through his armor. His sword is stabbed hard on the ground and when he pulled it, he swings around to shoo Kamandag away.

Her claws are filled with powerful venom and with her enhanced power, she is certain that this venom got more lethal as time passes by. Even that only scratched him shallowly, she is sure that it will take effect soon.

“You b***h!” he jumped again towards her but she is aware of his powerful legs so she evaded the attack.

“Acid rain,” she sprinkled drops off poison around her, inflicting poison on nearby enemies that surrounds her and infecting the wounded part of her enemy. She knew that she has the upper ground in this battle, the venom will take its effect soon and she is sure that Crink will weaken and the venom will disrupt him in the side.

As the sand screen because of his crash on the ground subsides, Kamandag saw his shadow still standing. He is a tough one, she thought. He growled and soon she saw him completely and his whole body is being transfigured. His veins are showing and his whole body is glowing red.

She watched her enemy in that suffering state for a quite of time as she doesn’t want to get inside his enemy radius. That might be a trap and she is wary. After surprising her once she won’t underestimate her enemy that much. She prepared her claws once again.

Soon the transformation of Crink is done and he got bigger and his eyes are burning red and his whole body became bulkier. He threw the sword aside him stabbing multiple enemies in the process, as he is in berserk mode right now.

In this mode Crink, fights barehandedly as this is the blessings that was given to him by his king, Cain. This amplified his senses and his strength while sacrificing his intelligence. Yes, the side effects of rage can cloud his mind, so the only thing that he can think of right now is pummeling the enemy in front of him in the ground. Like a monster that is made for battle only.

He jumped towards Kamandag again, but this time at greater speed but with the prior notice of Poison to her, she barely avoided that attack and she is thankful for that. She flew higher as she noticed a few of explosions happening in the distance. It was Pyro, but a boom on the ground caught her attention and she saw that Crink is going straight at her.

She avoided his attack once again and she used her wings to maneuver herself midair but Crink’s fist grazed her, and because of how powerful Crink is it dealt an ample amount of damage to her. One of her transformation’s quirks, she was quickly healed but it costs her energy.

Poison told Kamandag that Crink is currently barely mindless, and she can use tactics on him, to take advantage of the back lash of his transformation. Kamandag thought of something and she flew up higher as she generated a plan quickly.

“We are going there,” she said to Poison.

“It’s your plan,” she said and she meant that if it will work then do it. She flew to a different angle where Crink is expecting him to be and Crink’s growl can cause damage now. With his enhanced muscle in his vocal cords, he can use that enhanced muscle to generate an amplified sound as his weapon. A super sonic boom. A long-ranged attack that he can use towards agile enemies.

“Don’t go near,” Poison warned Kamandag. “He still has the small amount portion of his mind and do not underestimate that,” she added. “Proceed with caution in your plan,” and Kamandag flew around him while Crink is busy shouting towards different enemies. She knew a poison that can evaporate easily and she will use that as a smoke screen that will disrupt the vision to who it touches.

Her claws became bright purple once again and she sprinkled plenty drops of it and with the gazing rays of the sun, it evaporated the drops and just like what she thought this poison rendered nearby enemies blind, since she has no other allies in this battle field, she can go with any attack that she wants without sacrificing any friendly casualties.

She saw Crink growled in pain again, and he started smashing his underlings on the ground and she proceeds to the next step of her plan. Her feathered wings expanded so greatly and she flew towards him at great speed and slashed through him. This time it shattered his armor completely. The creature shrieks in pain again and she is smiling about it.

“That’s good, but the battle is not over yet,” Poison said and Kamandag turned around and saw Crink standing up again.

“He is one tough dude,” she said and she noticed that he is becoming small again and she saw that his knees are shaking. The venom is taking its effect to him. His berserk mode wore off and his mind became clear again but he can clearly remember on what the fairy did to him.

“So unfair,” he said before falling dead on the ground. Kamandag didn’t mind him at all and she has a great amount of strength to fight the army and help Arthur.

That battle is one sided as Kamandag is on a level of angel’s right now and with proper training she can match the power of a god.
