Damon's pov

After our run we went straight to our wing in the pack house and I got settled in my bed and a few minutes later Lucian came in.

“Nina is in my bed and honesty I don't have the energy for her drama can I sleep here" I don't know why he bothered asking it's not like he waited for my response as he got in bed beside me

“why bother asking if you going to get in anyway " I asked

“ it's polite to ask even though I was not going to take no for an answer" he laughed as he got himself settled, I just smiled as I got myself settled as well, there was this calming scent in here, it was very faint but it was there, I couldn't pin point what it was so I dicided to sleep tomorrow was going to be a long day, we had a lot to discuss with our father before we implemented new ideas to the pack, we wanted to make it so he would not have a choice but to hand over the pack to us in two years. I hate to say this but my father is a wimp and I'm starting to realize that the reason why he treated our pack poorly was so they wouldn't realize the kind of person he truly is and we are going to use this to our advantage, if we align our pack with powerful alphas and packs our dad will have no choice but to give the pack to us, with this in mind I smiled as I let sleep take over. As we we're now used to waking up early for training we where up at 4 am while the rest of the pack slept, we never prioritized training here and it started at 8 in the morning for about an hour, this was going to change starting tomorrow, we thought about going to the gym and also realized the poor state our gym was in, I mean seriously how are we not the weakest pack?. We ended up discussing what we were going to say to our father then after we talked about things we found funny this last year and laughed that was before a naked Nina budged into the room

"morning boys, I thought since Lucian didn't come to his room last night I might as well come to you here maybe the three of us can have a little fun" she batted her lashes and I could tell her smile was forced but I didn't care

“ well you thought wrong, the moment Lucian left the room for you, you should have realized you are not wanted" I could have been nicer about it but I know Nina, if I'm not hush about it she will keep persisting and I don't want problems if I do find my mate

“ come on we had some fun times together, granted never with the three of us together but might as well start now as I'm going to be your mate soon " she tried again

" says who? " Lucian asked “ my wolf didn't recognize you as his mate so what gave you the idea you are going be one?" he asked again

“well when the Luna, your mother suggested it you never said no and it was kind of agreed upon that I was going to be your luna" she had lost most of her confidence

"cover yourself for us to take you seriously" I said throwing a pillowcase at her no way I was going to give her any of my belongings

“let's have this conversation when you are more decent because I sure as hell don't remember giving verbal or written consent to whatever you are saying " Lucian said and I nodded in agreement, we had not said no either but there is no way I'm going to be with someone who is not my mate. She left looking angry and we both laughed, we made our way to our private dining in a rush after she left finally acknowledging the delicious smells that where coming from there. As we neared it there was this delicious scent that couldn't be ignored, it smelled like strawberries and cinnamon and I moved quickly to the room and there in a dog collar, covered in bruises, sitting in a submissive position and you could tell she was in pain was Jenna, Blaize claimed her as his mate and before I could say or do anything, she in a voice that was so low and a face that had pain and shame written all over it proclaimed us as her mates and she bowed even lower in a way that was more pathetic than before. Lucian let out an ear shattering roar and I was on the verge of shifting into my beast not because I was angry at her but because she was our mate and we had done this to her, finally something must have clicked in her mind because I saw fear in her eyes before she broke the leash and ran out. We ran after her because there was no way we where going to lose her, but in my heart for the first time there was absolute fear, I was going to lose my mate and it was fault
