Chapter 16

Is there more?

Jeremy

I woke up feeling like a bus hit me. I got up from my bed and stumbled to the bathroom almost falling off on the clothes I left all around the room. I walked to the sink and washed my face with cold water, hoping that it will help me to wake up. I looked in the mirror and my eyes opened wide. Behind me there was a familiar figure sitting on the side of my bathtub. She only wore a short, almost transparent silk robe. She giggled seeing my expression and slowly uncrossed her long legs. Dee stood up and bit her, red painted bottom lip,while she checked me out from head to toe. Ulric growled and I felt annoyed as well. I remembered that I only wore a short as PJ's.

- What the f**k are you doing here? - I asked her in my Alpha tone and Dee walked closer. She played with her rose gold dyed hair.

- You seem to be worn out lately Jeremy. I thought maybe you'll enjoy my company, just like in the good old times. - she said these last few words whispering into my ear, with her hands wrapped around my neck. I grabbed her hands and pulled them off of me. Ulric was disgusted by her touching us and he came to the surface yelling at Dee.

-Don't you dare touch me again! Only my mate can touch me! - Dee's eyes turned into the size of a saucer.

- Jeremy! What are you talking about? You never cared about having a mate! Who is she? - Dee asked and Ulric growled at her.

- I have no reason to answer your questions! Leave my room and never dare to enter again without permission! Believe me you don't want to cross your ways with me when I'm mad. - Dee scoffed and threw her hair back. She pulled her robe more together and her piercing blue eyes stared at me.

- You are making a mistake! - she said and rushed out of the room. I heard a whistle and I peaked out of my bathroom, only to see a grinning Rico.

- As I see you had an eventful night! - he said. I growled at him and walked to my closet to grab some clothes on. Rico was waiting for me, sitting on my bed. He rested his head in his hands and waited for the details like a school girl.

- Nothing happened! - he raised an eyebrow.

- Really? Is this why your ex-lover just ran out of your room, almost naked? - I rolled my eyes at my best friend.

- Here is how it happened. I had a rough night and haven't slept at all technically. I woke up, went to wash my face and she was here. She wanted to kiss me and I pulled her away. I don't know why, but her presence got me disgusted. Ulric took control and told her that only our mate can touch us and I sent her out. - I saw a twinkle in Rico's eyes. He stretched and laid back on my bed saying.

- Maybe you are finally getting to your senses. And you haven't heard all or Carolina's story yet. - I wanted to ignore his teasing, but when he said that there is more that she suffered I got interested. Maybe there'll be a reason to reject her!

- Is there more? - I asked and Rico sat up, patting my bed on his side.

- Story time. - he said and I sat next to him and listened.

Roxanne's story told by Rico

She never gave up on her dream and kept working hard, but this time she gave part of the money to her father. The other part she hid carefully, so when she's going to need it, she'll have it. Years passed with the same routine. For her poor background, Carolina had been constantly bullied by her classmates and the boys always tried to force themselves on her.

"- A bug like you should be happy that we at least want to touch you! - Carolina grinned while a boy from her school pushed her to the ground.

- You have a really weird fetish Don! - Carolina said and when the other boys laughed Don grabbed her by her hair.

- Use your mouth for something useful and suck my d**k, b***h! You'll get fed. But if you are doing it good, I'll maybe pay for your lunch tomorrow! - Don said and pulled his zipper down to show his c**k to Carolina . She knew that they'll beat her to plump but she started to laugh.

- Better pay for a lunch because this prick isn't enough for half of my teeth. - Don stared at her while others laughed and he pulled Carolina higher, so he managed to kick her in the stomach. Carolina gasped in pain and Don kicked her again while the others cheered for him. Finally he got tired and let her hair go. Carolina collapsed onto the ground and blood were pouring from her mouth. Don leaned down and turned her to her back. He pinned Carolina's hands over her head and he said.

- I gave you a good offer that you refused to agree on. Now I'll have my ways with you. Let's see if you are such a good f**k as you look like. - he ripped Carolina's t-shirt and took off his own belt to tie her hands." Ulric was snarling the entire time while Rico talked and Jeremy himself got pissed off as hell. Not because Carolina was his mate, simply because of the cruelty she had been trough. Listening to what Rico told, Jeremy started to feel sorry for Carolina. Rico glanced at his friend and felt the tension in the air but he continued.

"Don tied her hands and pulled her jeans off. The other guys stood guard while he pulled Carolina behind the bushes. She cried for help, but no one was there to save her. She used Don's distraction while he was trying to get his pants down and Carolina kicked him in his family treasure. Don shouted in pain and fell to the ground. Carolina scooted further got up and ran as fast as she could. Somehow she managed to get home, but her mother opened the door. When she saw her, Carolina's mother pulled her inside and started to hit her with the broom screaming about how shameful she was. Carolina escaped from her mother's punishment and had a long hot shower. That day was her fifteenth birthday. After the shower, Carolina packed all her necessary belongings and ran away from home. She jumped on the bus which took her to the only safe place. Her grandmother's house.
