Even from where I stood on the stage, I’d heard it, and I’m sure most of the crowd did too. The priest stops speaking and stares down at the crowd where Fiona and Neil stand, staring at each other with nothing but mutual longing.
I suddenly have the urge to bash Neil’s head in.
