LILY'S POV
Sister Mercy was literally shaking in rage and this scared the hell out of me. My heart was beating so loudly in my chest as I followed her to her office.
The moment we got in the office, she locked the door and we were just the two of us.
"I can explain," I mumbled.
"You don't have to, I understand why you are doing what you are doing and as we are speaking, I am working on that immediately," She said and I was confused.
What was she talking about?
I remained quiet hoping that she was going to elaborate what she had just said but she remained silent. Therefore I decided to ask.
"I am really sorry sister for going against the rules. It's just that I love Hannah…" She couldn't let me continue before she cut me off.
"You will be adopted tomorrow," She said out of the
