All of a sudden he began laughing. “What’s he laughing about?” Amelia wondered. When she thought of it, she had noticed that figure behind her when she was done dressing. Could he had seen her dressing? For some unknown reasons, his dark hair turned white. He became completely lost in the walls of the white room. He kept on laughing. She felt like crying. Since she came to be his wife, she was trying to endure whatever happens to her but now, she doesn’t think she could handle it. She missed her father, Lillian, Charles, everyone. “What if he kills me?” she whispered. Kiera stopped laughing. “He is a magician, he would use me for toast one day” she cried in her head. He frowned at her. “Did he read my thoughts?” she wondered. “Yes Princess, and they are not nice” he answered. Nice? He was looking for nice? s****l harassment wasn’t nice. Causing fear and heart attacks weren’t nice. Laughing at her wasn’t nice either. He wanted a wife but he was nothing of a husband. It seemed he had read her thoughts again for his eyes softened. “Was he feeling remorse? Then he should send me back home. Or I won’t live long” she thought. Kiera stood up and began walking to her, to Amelia, it was the time she dies. “I won’t kill you till you make me”. His voice sent shivers down her spine. She wanted to nod but her body went stiff. Kiera left her room. She took in a glass of water and began thinking again. What kind of name was Kiera? It was clearly a female's name. Did his name has something to do with the fact that he was bisexual? Having two genders? The deputy had once said that his name was Koline. That sounded male. What exactly was she married to? His voice asked “What are you doing?”. Amelia froze, she turned around and saw him holding two swords. “Is this it? Do I die now?” she asked herself. When she noticed his face expression she stopped herself from thinking. “So I can’t think in peace?” she asked calmly. “Not yet” he threw a sword to her. “Why are you giving me a sword? Do you want me to kill you?” she asked again. Kiera sensed the excitement in her tone. “Not yet” he answered again. He tried teaching her sword art but she frustrated his efforts. He might not always be around all the time but his mansion was desolate. He didn’t want her putting him in the stress of rescuing her. “Why do I need to protect myself? Why, do you have enemies?” she complained. She couldn’t attack nor defend. “I’m tired please” she finally collapsed on a chair. He watched her, she amused him. Earlier at her kingdom, she had been commanding and bossy but here, she was easily scared and weak. One of the reasons he wanted to marry her was because she was rumored to be brave, daring, stubborn and easily turns down suitors, prince or Noble. If she decides to act timid with him, she would bore him and maybe he might kill her off after all. She was now pouting and breathing heavily, he chuckled. “Are you laughing at me? Don’t dare!” her eyes shot him daggers. Kiera ignored her and make an attempt to pack up his swords, she couldn’t wield it anyway. She refused returning the sword. “I asked you a question” she yelled. “You’ll do what?” he asked and snatched her sword and began walking away. Amelia frowned and looked around for an object to throw at him. All over the ground where covered with green carpet grass and in the building, marble tiles. Her eyes also caught some blue tulips. A smile crept up her lips, she loved blue, it was her favorite color. “Saw nothing, Princess?” Kiera cut her thoughts. He was now leaning on the wall and was daring her. She threw a pin from her hair to him, but it didn’t even come near. “Um..you missed” he smiled. Amelia stomped into the mansion and he followed behind her. She had noticed and grabbed hold of the nearest thing beside her – a vase – and threw it at him. She thought she would dodge it but his eyes turned gray and the vase hung on the air. Slowly, he put the vase back on it’s stand. His eyes were still gray. Amelia noticed his eyes turned gray whenever he used magic. “Oh, I wouldn’t have missed if you left magic out of this” she smirked. He wasn’t smiling and his eyes were still grey “I hate destruction of property, Princess” his voice lost all it’s cheerfulness. Amelia began thinking that she had over done it, he was too confusing to her, one minute he was playing around, the next, he was too serious. She dashed into her room and locked the door. “What have I done?” She fell and began sobbing. Few seconds later, there was a knock on the door. She didn’t dare open . She wrapped herself up in her bed hoping he would go away. She couldn’t go on living like this? She would die of heart attack soon. A cold hand rubbed her neck. She turned wet face and faced him “I’m sorry, I scared you, it wasn’t intentional” his voice was tender. She wanted to nod but her body was becoming stiff again. “Did I scare you?” he asked. She shook her head. “Answer me, please, princess” he demanded. “No, you didn’t do anything .. I’m okay.. sorry” she stammered. Kiera looked down and turned “fine, it’s a long day, let’s sleep” he announced. “Let’s sleep?” Amelia repeated, she hurriedly wiped her face. Kiera made a short “hmm” and began taking off his clothes. Did h mean sleep. Like she should sleep next to him. She would have acted like she didn’t hear him. But her eyes saw something, she was dazzled. While he was taking off his clothes, his hair, that had been white turned black, she hadn’t even understood how it turned from glistening black to snowy white earlier, why did it turn black again. Was he the one doing it? Suddenly, it turned white again.
