Autumn jerked awake as Van Halen's “Ain't Talkin' 'Bout Love" intro blasted from her new phone. “Nope," mumbled as she reached over and turned it off. “Not today." Autumn really didn't see the point in getting up to go to another list of job interviews that she knew she wouldn't get. 'Nobody wants to hire a felon. Doesn't matter if they know me or not,' she thought as she rolled back over, ignoring the rising sun. “Autumn, get up! There's breakfast ready," came her mom's voice through the vents.
