I stood in front of Ella’s cell. She was asleep. Every time I came down here, she was asleep. It was multiple times a day. I was still taking the potion to keep the mate bond from affecting me. I hated her, and I wanted to go in there and make it known again, but I also had to give her a little time to heal, so we didn’t kill her just yet.
