Everyone finally showed up, and we called Aurthor’s phone again and this man wanted to meet just my father and I alone. We knew it was a trap, but didn’t know what else to do. We had to show up or Aurthor’s life was in danger. We were supposed to be meeting in the woods at midnight on Monday. We had a day to prepare.
“I think that tonight we need to run the woods, see if we can pick up anything.” I told my dad, Damien, and Kayden.
“I will stay here with your mom and Jordan. We can’t leave them unprotected right now.” My dad said, and I had to agree.
