*Cora’s POV*
Shay looks happy, satisfied with his victory over me, and I so wish it were true, but I know what I need to do. No matter how corny it may sound, I need to go get my man! As we walk home through the woods, I twist and crack small branches to use as markers if I do somehow need them, but I won’t. I won’t be taking the journey solely on foot. I am still getting used to my newly found super power, and find it hard to shake old habits.
“Have you thought about the pup’s nursery at all” Shay asks, trying to make small talk. He seems like a nice guy, now that I have the opportunity to get to know him better.
