"Why is Finn here?" We stopped at a red light. I turned sideways and looked at him.
"I don't know," Laiden shrugged. "I didn't ask."
"'So, he just randomly called and said 'Hey, come pick me up at the airport'?" I asked.
"Pretty much," Laiden nodded. "I kind of have an idea why he is here." He said.
"Do tell." I said as the car started going again.
"He has always secretly liked Svenja, and I think he is here to get her." Laiden told me.
"Seems very reasonable," I nodded my head. I agreed with his logic. "But very spontaneous." I said.
"I don't try to understand him. You shouldn't either." Laiden advised. He seemed a bit tired and disappointed. I felt bad for him.
"Are you okay?" I asked a bit concerned.
"I am fine." He sighed and answered.
